Application
deconex de-coat 231 is a powder product used for removing
the following coatings:

Information on use
Material compatibility
When working with Cr6+ solutions you must implement the necessary health and safety precautions.
Suitable for:
HSS, tools steels, e.g. 1.2067 (100Cr6), 1.2379 and titanium.
You must wear the following equipment:
ƒƒ Protective gloves with long sleeves
ƒƒ Eye protection with closed sides
ƒƒ Acid- and alkali-proof apron
For materials not mentioned please make your own specific
compatibility tests or consult Borer Chemie AG.
Decoating with deconex de-coat 231 requires a immersion process. No electrolysis is involved. deconex de-coat 231 can also
be used for high-chrome steels (cold work steels).
