• Be mindful not to exceed the rating of the Dimmer. Due to the specific nature of an LED's performance the following
method to calculate maximum number of LED's should be applied
• To calculate the number of drivers (LED's) per dimmer, we should calculate from the drivers Primary side:
For example: 450W dimmer + Luxpoint Point Mini + OTe 15/220-240/700 PC:
18W maximum on OT output side, then the OT input should be approx 22W (= 18+4)
Consider the power factor (PF)
Power from dimmer to OT input side = power/PF = 22W / 0.9 = 25VA
Then the total number of drivers we can load onto this dimmer (with a 30% de-rating factor) is;
= 450VA x 0.7 / 25VA
= 12.6
i.e. a maximum of 12 pc for Luxpoint Point Mini is allowed

following simple rule to calculate maximum number of LEDvance LED's should be applied
• The rated Dimmer Capacity derated by 10% divided by the Replacement power of the LED being used
• Example using a 450VA rated dimmer with a LED Replacement of 60W (Parathom Pro MR16 60W)
- (450 x 0.9) / 60 = 6.75. Therefore a 450VA rated dimmer can accomodate up to
6 x 60W replacement LEDs
