Transfer easily on the Leonardo Express
The Leonardo Express train is a first class service that runs between Rome Fiumicino Airport and Rome Termini
The Leonardo Express runs 7 days a week in both directions, departing every half hour with the journey taking 32 minutes.
The Leonardo Express train is equipped with air-conditioning, automatic sound equipment and large areas for luggage.
Note: Rail Passes in 1st class covering Italy are valid on the Leonardo Express but will take a day off your pass. (If you are continuing on to other cities
or coming from another city this will still be considered only one day of travel on your pass).
Leonardo Express information
Traveling on The Leonardo Express is fast, efficient and easy with a pre-purchased ticket all you need to do is board the train and find a seat.
There are no allocated seat numbers so you can sit anywhere.
At Rome Fiumicino airport station please enter through the manual check in gates with your ticket.

The train comes into Platforms 27 and 28 which are located near taxis, buses and other services.
Free transfer is available on the Leonardo Express between Fiumicino Airport and Roma Termini train station for 1st class pass holders only. This
transfer requires use of one day of travel on the pass.
Leonardo Express Departures
This service is guaranteed in the event of a strike (if necessary, the trains will be replaced by buses).
The Leonardo Express leaves every half hour at the below times:
Roma Termini to Fiumicino Airport; 22 minutes and 52 minutes past the hour
Fiumicino Airport to Roma Termini; 05 minutes and 35 minutes past the hour
The first departure from Roma Termini is at 5.52 and from Fiumicino at 6.36. The last departure from the airport is at 23.23 and from Roma Termini at
22.35
Payment & Ticketing
Conditions:
Ticket must be used within 4 days of nominated date.
Seat Reservations are not required.
Tickets are actual travel documents and do not need to be exchanged.

Cancellation & Amendments
Conditions:
A $50 fee + Carrier Penalty per ticket plus GST (only in Australia) applies to totally unused tickets returned by 3 days prior to the first day of validity
on the ticket.
