Serving a population of 125,123 located 43 miles south of Salt Lake City, Provo is the third largest city in

Police Department employs 107 sworn officers and 67 civilian personnel.
Provo City is seeking a proven law enforcement leader with a track record of excellence. A collaborative
and innovative professional and inspiring mentor, the ideal candidate will be an exceptional
communicator with high emotional intelligence who can be sensitive to the needs of a community,
including a diverse university population. Seven (7) years of command experience in a comparable
municipality and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline are required. Equivalent combination of
education, training and/or experience may be considered.
Salary goes up to $144,778 and is supplemented by a generous benefits package. Visit
