SCHOOL VISITOR POLICY REVIEW
Just a reminder that all visitors must check in at
the administration office to get a visitor pass
before going on campus.
CANDACE LEE WINS AWARD!
Candace Lee, WVOC Principal has
been selected as the 2015 AALA
“Principal of the Year.”
She will be presented with the award
at the LAUSD Board of Education
meeting on Tuesday, April 14.

“LISTEN TO YOUR BODY”
HEALTH FAIR THIS WEEK
The WVOC Student Council sponsored health
fair is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, from 9:30
to 1:30 in Dellefield Park and at the front of the
Administration Building. Classes will visit
according to a schedule so that we can reduce
crowding. Your teacher will let you know what
time to go.
The fair will have many community and WVOC
class representatives offering information on a
variety of preventive health topics. There will also
be a table to sign up for the American Red Cross
blood drive scheduled for Friday, May 8.

Every Wed & Thurs 1:15–3:45 pm in room 10
Evening testing: Check with the counseling office
Photo ID & TABE score of 8.0+ required

STEP ADVANCEMENT APPLICATION
DEADLINES
April 15: for teachers who may be eligible to
combine two consecutive school years for step
advancement.
June 15: for teachers who have worked a
minimum of 734 hours in the current school year.

DACE SAFETY WEEK
April 20-24, 2015, is "DACE Safety Week"
Division-wide. During this week, CTE teachers will
complete an instructional unit on safety. In addition
all safety tests must be up to date.
CTE teachers, plan to attend a meeting this week
to prepare. A memo will be put in your box shortly.
