All High School boys interested in playing BASEBALL this season please come to an informational meeting on
WEDNESDAY 2/5 during lunch in the gym.
HS Girls Softball There will be a mandatory lunch meeting for all girls interested in playing softball on Tuesday,
February 4th in room 202. Please bring all outstanding paperwork (Athletic Packet, physical, Brainbook) needed
by the school. We will also discuss schedules and tryouts. Please do not miss this mandatory meeting with out
contacting Annie Netherton or Bailey Yarbrough.
Surprise that special someone by purchasing a $2 Valentines Gram Box of Chocolates. These will go on sale at
lunch in the Old Building lobby and New Building MPR during the week of Valentine’s Day, February 10 through
February 13th. Proceeds will benefit Model United Nations in their upcoming competition at University of
Arizona. Grams to pick up your gift will be passed out to ILS on Valentine’s Day for after school pick up in Room
208 (Mrs. Schorey’s Class).
Students- Mrs. Visockis has two watches and two cell phones that have never been claimed. Please see her if
you are missing these items.
The 3rd Annual HOOPS FOR HEART Fundraiser is right around the corner! Starting in February will be the 3v3
Basketball Tournament for both MS and HS along with the 3 point contest, and other activities. Winners of the
Basketball tournament will once again face the teachers in the Student vs. Teacher Game in mid-March.
NPA’s Goal for the HOOPS FOR HEART Fundraiser in 2014 is to raise $1,500. HOOPS FOR HEART supports the
American Heart Association in fighting Heart Disease, the number 1 cause of death in America. If we reach our
school goal…………All male faculty members will shave their beards! (mainly Mr. Schmidt)
HOOPS FOR HEART Sign-ups at the old building front desk. $15 per 3v3 team - $1 to participate in the 3 point

All those of you who consider yourselves “Student-Athletes.” The first official spring practice begins on
Monday, February 10th. Please make certain your paperwork and activity fee is submitted prior to this date.
Middle School Student Council will be selling Crush Grams today thru Thursday the 6th. We are selling to all
grades and the cost is $1 each. You can purchase Crush Grams in the Multi-Purpose Room during lunch.
Middle School Valentine’s Social will be this Friday, February 7th from 4-6pm in the Gym. The cost is $3.00 for
admission and snacks will be available for purchase. Come join us for a SWEET time!
