Day 1
Arrive Jakarta
Met on arrival and drive to hotel. Rest of the day free to relax.
Day 2
Jakarta — Pangkalanbun — Tanjung Harapan
Kalimantan
Flight to Pangkalanbun. Travel to Tanjung Harapan by traditional wooden river boat to visit the
rehabilitation centre for orphaned orangutans.
Day 3
Orangutan Exploring
Kalimantan River Boat
Boat continues to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest. FB
Enroute stop at Pondok Tanguy rehabilitation centre.
Day 4
Camp Leakey — Semarang — Jogjakarta
Java
Transfer to airport for flight to Semarang. Transfer to hotel in Jogjakarta. Rest of the day free to
relax.
Day 5
Jogjakarta Tour
Java
Puri Artha
Visit Sultan Royal Palace, ‘Ngasem’ Bird Market, Water Castle, processing of batik at Batik Home BB
Industry, and processing of silverware at Kotagede. Afternoon, visit Borobudur temple, one of the
largest Buddhist monuments in the world.
Day 6
Jogjakarta — Makassar — Toraja
Sulawesi
Flight to Makassar and drive to Toraja highland (8 hours). The journey takes you through the
picturesque landscape of south Sulawesi. Overnight in Rantepao.
Day 7
Toraja Tour
Sulawesi Luta Resort
The Torajan do not bury their dead in earth, but in a stone hole or cave. Visit the royal family

tombs at Suaya, the cliff side stone graves with wooden effigies “tau-tau” at Lemo, the baby graves
in the tree at Kambira, the natural cave grave at Londa and Kete Kesu traditional wooden carving
village and hanging grave.
Day 8
Toraja Tour
Sulawesi
Visit to Palawa village to see the fascinating “Tongkonan” houses, Sa’dan To’Barana traditional
weaving village and the highland area of Batutumonga. Enjoy a trek from Pana to Tikala.

Toraja — Makassar — Bali
Drive back to Makassar and then flight to Bali for overnight.

Bali — Maumere — Moni
Flores
Flight to Maumere and drive to Moni. Visit the villages of Wolowaru, then Lio hill-tribes of Jopu
and Ranggase where you will see fine “Ikat” weaving.
Day 11
Moni — Kelimutu—Bajawa
Flores
Manulalu Hotel
Visit to three-colored lake of Kelimutu, one of Indonesia's most mysterious and dramatic sights.

On to Ende for its traditional market and Nuabosi for the wonderful views. Proceed to Bajawa via
the megaliths at Wogo village.
Day 12
Bajawa — Ruteng
Flores
Visit the beautiful villages of Bena & Gurusina, known for their megalithic cultures. Continue on a
scenic drive through villages and rain forest to Ruteng.
Day 13
Ruteng — Labuan Bajo — Rinca — Kalong Island
Komodo Islands Local Boat
Early morning boat to Rinca Island to look for Komodo dragons and other wildlife. Sail to Kalong FB
Island for an amazing view when thousand of bats fly out from the island in search of food.
Day 14
Kalong Island — Komodo Island — Pink Beach — Labuan Bajo
Flores
Puri Sari
Sail to Komodo Island for trekking in search of the Komodo dragon. Continue to “Pink Beach” for HB
snorkeling amongst colourful coral & fish before returning to Labuan Bajo for overnight.
Day 15
Labuan Bajo — Jakarta — Departure
Transfer to airport for flight to Jakarta and then to onward destination.
