Population: Down to 22 in 1982. Over 350 alive
today. This highly endangered bird is raised at
The Peregrine Fund in Boise, Idaho, and is
released at the Vermillion Cliffs near the Grand
Canyon. There are also breeding programs in
California and Oregon.
