Deeds, maps and business papers of G Smith, Estate
Agent, Boughton Monchelsea 1609-1965
Presented 23 April 1969
Catalogued by Jacqueline A V Rose November 1970
Introduction
The title deeds in this collection are mostly for the Jordan
family, auctioneers and estate agents at Milton. George
Smith was the nephew and executor of Alfred Jordan and
acted as estate agent for his aunt, Emma English.
Because of their nature, all records relating to family
matters have been catalogued as business papers.
