Piedmont Technical College Course Information Sheet Course Title: Medical Terminology Course Prefix/Number: AHS 102 COURSE-SPECIFIC GRADE CALCULATION Advanced notification of any changes will be provided to the student. Method of Assessment: 5% - Homework 5% - Discussions 40% - Tests 10% - Group Project 20% - Midterm Exam 20% - Final Exam No grades will be rounded per Health Science Division policy. I will also use a quarterly grade update. If your average is 79 or less after the first 4 weeks of the course, at midterm, or after 3/4th of the course, I will send you an email making sure you are aware of the low average. This is to make sure you have the opportunity to improve your grades before it is too late. Missed Assignments: Tests and homework assignments will NOT be re-opened if the deadline is missed. Emailed submissions will NOT be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS! Deadlines It is very important that you refer to the assignment schedule on a regular basis to keep up with due dates.
