FLO-MA X 2110 starch TM Factsheet Increase your profitability through improved efficiency with FLO-MAXTM 2110 starch FLO-MAXTM 2110 starch is our new powerful processing aid for spray dried or extruded ingredients helping you reduce your manufacturing, maintenance and production costs. FLO-MAXTM 2110 starch reduces waste and increases output during the spray drying and extrusion process. FLO-MAXTM 2110 starch FLO-MAX TM 2110 starch is a new processing aid that helps to improve yield during the spray drying or extrusion process of ingredients for food and beverages. New from Ingredion, this product offers cost savings through increased efficiency and waste reduction. Pictures shown below are between the tower and the conical section with the temperature probe removed. Low DE maltodextrin Using maltodextrin, the products remain very sticky and almost clogs the whole section. This leads to product losses and poor product output. FLO-MAX TM 2110 starch can be used to replace low DE maltodextrins and other processing aids. The FLO-MAX TM 2110 starch can reduce costs and improve profitability. Why choose FLO-MAXTM 2110 starch? • FLO-MAX TM 2110 is a modified starch that is used to reduce production time and waste through improved flowability of product in the spray drier or extruder. • FLO-MAX™ 2110 starch is a white powder which is neutral and works in broad pH-conditions at a high total acid content. • With its low viscosity FLO-MAX TM 2110 starch enables more concentrated formulations to achieve premium products. • Adding FLO-MAX TM 2110 starch to the slurry can improve the yield of hygroscopic juices, plant and herbal extracts by up to 100%. • Using FLO-MAX™ 2110 starch results in the tower being significantly cleaner (see images on the right). • Adding FLO-MAX™ 2110 starch results in the temperature probe being less clogged, easy to remove and the remaining powder can be cleaned easily. • FLO-MAX TM 2110 starch is recommended to be used in sticky hygroscopic materials and prevents them from clogging the spray dryer, resulting in less stops for cleaning. FLO-MAXTM 2110 starch FLO-MAX TM 2110 starch strongly improves the flow of the product and drying process, so that the probe can easily be removed for cleaning after drying.
