TIMBER JOISTS SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Suspension System Shall consist Of treated 50mmx50mm
hardwood spaced at not exceeding 600mm centre to centre
on one direction and 1220mm the other direction. Hanging
joist to be suspended power fix from structure by 50mm
x25mm timber at every 1200mm spacing. Perimeter of
ceiling shall be 50mm x50mm timber power fixed to wall.
GALVANISED METAL SUSPENSION SYSTEM
ALUMNIUM SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Suspension Syster shall conist of 38mm x25mm galvanised
steel Main Tee runner spaced at 1200mm centre to centre on
one direction and 65mm x25mm galvanised steel cross channel
(furring channel) spaced at 450mm centre to centre the other
direction.Suspension system shall be hang with wire rod and
bracket power fix to structural soffit.
BOARD FIXED ON TO TIMBER SUSPENSION.
Board thickness shall be 9mm or 12mm thick. Board to be
temporary fixed in position with joint to be grouted at the
back and over timber with fibreglass /gypsum plaster. After
grouting has set, remove all tempory fixing, flush up joint
and nail hole with stopping compound. Allow for drying
before painting.
