On Maundy Thursday, April 13, the Good Agers

the Good Agers Passover

share them it would be greatly appreciated. Please
call Pastor Lyle Hansen at 515-570-5602 if you
have some that we can borrow.
Thank You! Pastor Hansen

Community Service
A local Youth Group, who painted the lunch
room last year for us, has asked if they could
come back to Trinity again this summer. They
would like to assist seniors in doing some light
yard work, such as planting flowers or raking. If
you are interested in having them come help you
please let the office know. They will be in Boone
between June 27-30th. Thanks!

volunteering you can call 432-1168.
GERMAN FESTIVAL PLANS CANCELLED:
Due to a lack of interest and support, the effort to
establish an annual “Authentic German Food
Festival” has been abandoned. I wish to thank those
who did show support for this event. Hopefully in
the future more interest can be generated for some
type of annual fundraiser. For years the church has
been caught in a cycle of obtaining and repaying
loans, with each annual cycle becoming more
difficult. Without some mechanism to annually
produce a large influx of additional funds ($40,000$50,000), the church in the near future may end up
in a position in which it will be unable to secure
loans. At that point the congregation may face
extremely difficult decisions regarding its mission.
