GERMAN FESTIVAL PLANS CANCELLED: Due to a lack of interest and support, the effort to establish an annual “Authentic German Food Festival” has been abandoned. I wish to thank those who did show support for this event. Hopefully in the future more interest can be generated for some type of annual fundraiser. For years the church has been caught in a cycle of obtaining and repaying loans, with each annual cycle becoming more difficult. Without some mechanism to annually produce a large influx of additional funds ($40,000$50,000), the church in the near future may end up in a position in which it will be unable to secure loans. At that point the congregation may face extremely difficult decisions regarding its mission. -Dan Pratt, Trinity Men’s Club President & Trinity Treasurer Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity is hosting the first ever Home Tweet Home Fundraising event!
