*Fee is assessed when the tire is sold by a tire dealer. Motor vehicles first registered in Oklahoma are
also assessed the applicable fee. Though the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality
implements much of the used tire recycling program, fees are remitted to the Oklahoma Tax
Commission.
