BLUE LAGOON WATER PARK features an indoor wave machine,
Kicking off a new season of activities this Easter –
THE ADVENTURE CENTRE is a giant countryside themed adventure play-
a rapids river ride and two enclosed flume rides that leave the
coracle-shaped building and bring you back into the main swimming
area at pool level.
A lazy river exits the building to an outdoor bubble pool. There is an
outdoor and indoor spa pool ideal for relaxation and fun, two interactive
wet play areas – one for very young children, the other for the not so
young. There are loungers and patios with the temperature and humidity
maintained at constantly perfect levels.
Overlooking the whole complex are wet and dry café and bar areas and
the Blue Lagoon shop. Oh, and in what is believed to be a world first,
Blue Lagoon is heated by biomass. Warmth is provided by the nearby
energy centre, which is fuelled by woodchip and miscanthus (really tall
grass) grown by local farmers.
and it all starts with the ‘After Dark’ beach party.
The Blue Lagoon water park is going all out to ensure everyone of all ages
can enjoy a range of new and specially orientated events and activities
until the Summer.
It all kicks off with the amazing ‘After Dark’ beach party themed event
every night* during the school holidays, bringing together music, light
effects and just plain all out water fun with the wave machine, water
geysers and water cannon.
The night starts with a chill-out with some of the best relaxing music
between 6-7pm, along with bubbles, coloured canon spray and a lazy
river. Between 7-8pm everything’s ramped up with special effects before
everything goes wild between 8-9pm with waves, louder music and even
more cannon spray.
**Every night during school holidays 6pm-9pm
ground with four large linked towers, complete with suspension bridges,
crawl tubes, nets and ladders. A soft play area with ball pool, spiral slide
and bouncy castle keep the younger ones active, while the whole family can
have fun playing mini golf.
Try... The Wall and Sky Trail, a high ropes indoor course, a must for would
be adventure climbers. Also within the Adventure Centre is ‘Discovery’
which features the NRG Zone, which has Zig Zag dance mats, Wii and the
Sportwall. Here is also Techniquest, the interactive science attraction and a
LEGO room featuring play tables, lego bricks and lego figures.
Upstairs has a Games Zone, a mezzanine level for access to the Sky Trail, a
high ropes course, a viewing area overlooking the main hall with a café that
provides lighter meals and a fully stocked bar.

AQUA PLAY
Tuesdays 10am-5pm
Calling all families, mums, Dads, babies and toddlers.
Tuesdays will be a fun filled day with inflatable toys in and
around the pool to delight your children.

Aqua Adventure
We open up the venue to the mature generation who will be
able to enjoy a swim, catch up with friends over coffee or just
relax pool-side with a book or newspaper.
Fun packed water sports for all ages. One price gives access
to all. Activities including, Underwater Treasure Hunt
Inflatable, Slide; Inflatable Tubes; Big Ball Volley Ball;
Floating Bridge.

In the warm surroundings of Blue Lagoon, an ASA qualified
teacher will guide you in how to confidently handle your child
