Dan Miller bio

Dan Miller bio
Long before Dan Miller hosted television shows like
PBR Bull Riding, American Magazine, and Due West,
one could find him on a dairy farm in Indiana,
dreaming of movies, music, and the entertainment
industry.
After attending college on a football scholarship,
Miller headed to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams.
There, he studied acting, worked in radio and
television, and performed in clubs. Those jobs led to
stages in Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas, and a
touring schedule that took him from Alaska to
Florida.
When he moved to Nashville to pursue a recording career, Dan found more
opportunities existed for him there in television, commercials, and voice-over
work. For the next 15 years, he hosted a variety of television shows—
including the Cable ACE award winning Top Card—and conventions for
national corporations such as Toyota and Subaru.
After Dan and his family moved to Cody, Wyoming, he continued to host
television shows including Xtreme Bulls on GAC (Great American Country)
and the Best of the West on the Outdoor Channel. Many of Dan’s fellow
musicians in Nashville have accepted his
invitation to play in Cody—performers
such as Mel Tillis, the Bellamy Brothers,
Kathy Mattea, Billy Dean, Suzy Bogguss,
and Ed Bruce have entertained audiences
in Cody as part of Miller’s “Cody Wild
West Shows.”
For the past eleven years, Miller has
entertained more than 100,000 people
from 65 countries with his Dan Miller’s
Cowboy Music Revue in downtown Cody.
