includes a single, 18 AWG, 75 ohm coaxial conductor double-shielded with foil and
tinned copper serve to reduce interference.

applications — This super high resolution cable offers the best available video
performance, and transmits the highest-resolution signals with the lowest losses making
it ideal for critical applications and longest cable runs, including high scan rate analog,
and demanding digital SDI/HD-SDI applications.

• Plenum and Non-Plenum rated versions available — Extron RG6 High Resolution
cable is available with a NEC-CM non-plenum or NEC-CMP plenum-rated SuperFlex
jacket. Plenum-rated cable is for use in open air spaces without conduit, thereby
reducing installation cost, were National Electric Code CMP cable must be installed.

cable features the smooth SuperFlex jacket with sequential numbering that enables
quick calculation of the cable used and remaining on the spool.

High Resolution Cable
DESCRIPTION
The Extron RG6 Cable offers the best available video performance. RG6 Series cables are able to
handle the highest-resolution signals and are ideal for the most critical applications and longest
cable runs, including high scan rate analog and demanding digital SDI/HD-SDI applications. Signal
loss, seen as an image's loss of brightness and sharpness or data errors in digital systems, can
be experienced when cable runs travel over long distances. Signals that run at higher frequencies
are especially vulnerable to signal loss over long distance cable runs. The RG6 Cable is perfect
for lengthy cable runs because it carries ultra high resolution workstation graphics as well as low
resolution video with minimal signal loss ensuring the best transmission of video signals.
