WELDING & MACHINING
WHI maintains a professional team of red seal welders and fitters who
are Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) W47.1 and W59 certified. Highly
sophisticated metal working technology and finely tuned equipment
is utilized to build long-term value into customers’ products. Robotic
welding delivers products at a lower cost, with more flexibility to
meet customer demands. The company’s automation strategy ensures

SANDBLASTING & PAINTING
ENGINEERING
Completed on-site, steam cleaning and sandblasting are effective
processes for exposing cracks that need repairs. Furthermore, paint
adheres best after surfaces are sandblasted, thus enhancing the life
of the equipment.
WHI has a full design and engineering team that provides dedication
and a wealth of industry experience to offer uncompromised results
for regional attachments and equipment repair solutions. Design
optimization and enhanced product durability is achieved by using the
latest 3D design software (SolidWorks) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
WHI contains a high-capacity industrial spray booth, which is the
largest of its kind in the Fort McMurray region. The 4800 sq. ft.
self-contained drive through paint booth effectively handles large
equipment in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
With a commitment to quality, a Structural Performance Test Stand
is used to prove the necessary design and engineering to meet rigid
industry standards. All manufactured products can be tested to ISO,
SAE, OSHA, CSA, ANSI, WCB, BSI, CEN, and various other standards.
