New for This Year
We are excited about this year’s Conference and the opportunities available through being a part of the
GIE+EXPO. We have a great educational program planned, and along with the Golf Outing, Welcome
Reception, Breakfast and Business Meeting/Luncheon, you will have a number of chances to interact with
turf professionals and your peers. In addition to our events, you will also be able to participate in activities
associated with the GIE+EXPO, where you can continue to expand your network. Those activities include
the Trade Show – An Indoor Marketplace with more than 750 exhibits and an outdoor, try-before you
buy, hands-on, demo area that covers over 19-acres. After the Welcome Reception on Thursday night at
the Galt House, you may attend the live entertainment at 4th Street Live, just a few blocks from the Galt
House. The Opener will be Brooke Eden, with Joe Nichols as the Headliner. The shows begin at 8:00 PM,
and are free to KTC registrants.
Also new this year, you will be able to bring additional staff members to the show at a reduced rate. For
each organization that registers 3 staff members at the Full Registration rate, additional staff members
will get half price off their registration – for either a Full Registration, or One Day Pass normal rates.

The Welcome Reception will be held in the Galt House on Thursday, October 20th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be severed along with Cash Bars. For those who sign up for a Full
Registration, or a Thursday One Day Pass, 2 drink tickets will be provided. Then it’s just a short walk to
4th Street Live.
On Friday morning, October 21st – from 7:30 – 9:00 AM, a Breakfast will be provided prior to the start of
the General Sessions. Meet and chat with your peers while enjoying a Continental type breakfast leading
up to the General Sessions. The Breakfast will take place at the Kentucky Exposition Center, and be
located in the same room as the General Sessions.
