Jesus Kingdom
The values and beliefs of Jesus kingdom are _______________

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my
servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish

Jesus Kingdom belongs to the poor in spirit, to those who recognize
their need for God.
Jesus said that those who mourn over their sin will find comfort
(forgiveness) in his kingdom.
Blessed are the Meek
Jesus said that unspeakable joy comes to those who are meek.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
(Matthew 5:5, NIV)
In today’s common usage, meek means “weak.”

A meek person will inherit the earth!
Our hearts ache, but we always have joy.
We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others.
We own nothing, and yet we have everything.

Getting Real
1. How does your view of meekness need revision in light of Jesus
character and teaching?
We possess that which we appreciate and love, including authentic
friendships.
2. Take some time to examine your heart. Ask God to reveal the
areas in which you may need to exhibit meekness. Ask for the
power of the Spirit to come and help you change and grow.
