What do manufacturers need in order to respond swiftly to changing market conditions and growing customer demand for product individualization? The answer is automation. To be part of the digital age and stay competitive, manufacturers need to invest in the latest automation technology. This tour will give you a captivating and transparent overview of today's advanced factory technologies and associated software solutions and show you the vital importance of seamless data flows, from the initial product idea and the associated planning and engineering processes, right through to production and after-sales service. Tour 2 – Industry 4.0 & Industrial Internet Smart Factory, Virtual Reality, Internet of Things – no mere futurist musings, these revolutionary concepts are now integral to modern industry. The digital integration of all industrial processes has moved from vision to reality, and the fourth industrial revolution is in full swing. This tour is an opportunity to experience the latest technologies for Integrated Industry. It is your chance to discover solutions for programming products with their own blueprints, for enabling machines to communicate with one another via sensors, and for building smart, flexible factories capable of individualized mass production. Tour 3 – Predictive Maintenance 4.0 Predictive maintenance (PdM) is an industrial Internet of Things technology that is steadily growing in importance as a driver of value in modern manufacturing. The Internet of Things is about interconnectedness – the digital integration of machines, products, components and up- and downstream systems. Predictive maintenance is a cost-saving improvement on conventional maintenance strategies, not to mention a pivotal part of the Industry 4.0 landscape. In this tour, selected exhibitors will demonstrate advanced systems that are already in industrial use and show you strategies, applications and solutions for the connected world of Predictive Maintenance 4.0. Tour 4 - Process Automation Process automation confers benefits on companies from a whole range of industries, including the chemicals, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food and metal industries. During this tour, exhibitors will show you how you can harness process control systems, measurement and control technology, optimized instrumentation and advanced automation solutions to boost your plant productivity while at the same time lowering your energy bills. Whether you’re looking for advanced smart sensors that can measure gas and dust emissions or track fluid levels in your manufacturing processes, or need state-ofthe-art smart measuring and control solutions to boost your production efficiency, this tour is an excellent way to “get your bearings” and start your journey of discovery. Tour 5 – Integrated Energy Transitioning the world to sustainable, intelligently networked energy systems requires new technologies and solutions for energy generation, storage, transmission and distribution. This tour is all about smart grids, virtual power plants, renewable energy, energy management and storage solutions and technologies for integrating electric vehicles into tomorrow’s intelligent energy systems. You will discover ideas, technologies and solutions for building an energy market that delivers a sustainable, reliable and competitively priced energy supply. The tour is also a great opportunity for you to share your views on how to build a better energy future. Tour 6 – Energy Management Systems for Industry Digitalization is transforming all sectors of the economy, including manufacturing, where it is now possible to monitor energy flows across production systems and in up- and downstream infrastructure. The technology is now available for manufacturers to capture, visualize and analyze data on specific aspects of their energy production and use, opening the way for increased energy efficiency and lower operating costs. This, precisely, is the focus of the Energy Management Systems for Industry tour. By exploring energy management solutions across multiple disciplines and exhibition halls, you will gain a good general understanding of how you can optimize the energy efficiency of your plant and buildings. The tour focuses on instrumentation and sensor systems, display technology, data processing software, energy IoT solutions and building automation solutions.
