For Duck it was love at first sight,
When he saw Horse in the moonlight.
Duck said,
“Oh four-legged lady,
How happy you’ve made me!
Let’s marry with rings,
And have a family of horslings!”

Duck once bought Horse a beautiful flower…
She greedily gobbled it in less than an hour.

Duck took Horse to the fanciest restaurant around…
But had to leave when she made a big, steaming mound!

Duck took Horse on a romantic rowboat…
It soon sank because Horse couldn’t float!

One day a handsome Stallion appeared,
And then something Duck always feared;
Horse and Stallion ran together in the moonlight,
And Duck’s heart crumbled into the dark, lonely night.
For months Duck’s heart hurt every day,
Until a Lady Duck waddled his way…
She got him a flower
(That was fine in an hour).
They went to the fanciest restaurant around
(Neither left a big, steaming mound).
They both LOVED the rowboat
(It was no trouble for Lady to float).
Duck’s crumbled heart slowly came together;
Lady made him smile no matter the weather.
If Duck ever felt sad and needed to talk about Horse;
Lady spoke Duck and understood him of course.
