Capral is pleased to announce two new initiatives for the 581 and 471 Double Hung windows.
Updates to Spring Balance Kits
The Spring Balance kits used in the 581/471 Double Hung windows have been updated to include
new Adjustable Feet proprietary to the Capral windows.
The new components are high quality tension feet with adjustable polymer friction pads and have
been designed exclusively to fit the Capral Double Hung sash.
There has been no change to material numbers and all current stock has been updated to include
the new components.
With the introduction of the new kits, Capral are also pleased to announce the introduction of some
new supporting documentation intended to assist in the ordering and manufacture of the Double
Hung windows.
Spring Balance Kit - Information Guide
Provides information including spare part codes for the
Capral Spring Balance kits.
Also contains Spring Cutting formulas and instructions.
This form will be added to the 581 and 471 Technical
Manuals.
Non Standard Spring Balance Order Form
Allows fabricators to easily order non-standard springs
directly from Doric.
Completing the form will provide all the information
Doric requires to fulfil their requirements.
This form is available for download on the Capral
website from the 581 and 471 product pages.

New Sash Lock
A new sash lock has been sourced for the 581 and 471 Double Hung windows. As well as being
more modern and stylish giving a better finished product, the new lock is stronger providing
increased security as well as improved weathering performance.
This lock is currently available in Black but may be sourced in other colours by special request.
Extended lead times will apply for other colours.
