We preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and
foolishness to Gentiles. (I Corinthians 1:23) (NIV)
Victoria Wilguess is at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital (no visitors please).
So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are
offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense. (I Corinthians
1:23) (NLT)
New Babies:
Why would the cross be offensive?
Zack & Lauren Tallon on the birth of their daughter, Emmy Mae, Friday,
March 24. Grandparents are Larry & Terry Adler and great-grandmother
is Frankie Tallon.

But to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks,
Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Because the cross spells salvation _________________ not

Because on the cross Jesus conquered both _______________
and ________________.
Hebrews 2:14-15; Hebrews 10:22
Because in the cross we find the power to live totally
______________________ lives.
Romans 6:4; Galatians 6:14-15; Colossians 1:21-22

Hospitalized:
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are
perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Providing Hope for the Hopeless
For the fourth year in a row we are participating in a great event in
which you can support the children of Hope Harbor. On Saturday, April

accept donations of furniture, working appliances, kitchenware, clothing,
toys, DVDs, books, games, and other household goods. All donations
must be in good condition. Please note that they cannot accept TVs,
mattresses, or computer monitors. These donations will then be sold in
Hope Harbor’s thrift store, and the proceeds will ensure excellent physical
and spiritual care for the children who make Hope Harbor their home.
