COATED CONTROLLED RELEASE FERTILIZER 6 Month Pluss 14-9-15 100% coated fertilizer: NPK, magnesium & micronutrients with a release time of approximately 6 months Description Plantacote® Pluss 6M is a complete controlled release fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and trace elements in every granule to ensure optimum availability and uniform release. 50% of the Iron in Plantacote Pluss 6M is chelated as FeEDTA. The nutrients in Plantacote Pluss are released by a unique polymer coating process which is controlled by soil temperature. Stated release times refer to an average soil temperature of 70 degrees F. Higher temperatures accelerate nutrient release, lower temperatures slow it down. The release time is unaffected by substrate type, pH, micro-organisms or level of irrigation. Plantacote Pluss 6M starts to release within 7-10 days of application. This characteristic ensures the product is very safe to crops, with minimal risk of salt stress, even after storage of premixed growing media for up to 3-4 weeks. Release of nutrients from Plantacote Pluss 6M is attuned to the physiological requirements of the crop. Thus, release of nitrogen is greater during crop establishment and release of potassium is more pronounced during the later stages of growth.
