A Year in Review
ZeroWater offers a Premium Alternative to Conventional Water Filtration
Market Differentiation, Technology and Charitable Acts Highlight Recent Achievements
January 2017 –Trevose, PA – Removal of 99.6% of all total dissolved solids based on EPA-certified lab tests might be accolades enough for an average water
filtration provider, but ZeroWater has never been satisfied resting on such laurels. The company continuously strives for bigger and better achievements. As
ZeroWater reflects on its 2016 business year, three accomplishments in particular stand out. First on that list is the company’s ability to differentiate itself in the
crowded water filtration market. Second is the breadth of product offerings that employ their premium 5-stage premium filtration technology. Thirdly are the
charitable acts that have made a safe-drinking difference in the lives of lead-affected communities across the nation, especially in Flint, Mich.
Market Differentiation
This time last year, Consumer’s Digest (http://www.consumersdigest.com/home/article/top-rated-water-filters-clear-leaders) counted 122 water-filtration systems
from 16 companies that were certified by the NSF to meet the latest certification standard for the reduction of contaminants in drinking water. Standing out among
such competition might seem like a daunting feat but ZeroWater has managed to do so almost effortlessly.
ZeroWater’s easy to use pour-through water filtration is certified by the NSF to reduce lead and other heavy metals such as; chromium 3 and 6. ZeroWater has made
headlines throughout the year as Flint, Michigan and other communities around the country have struggled with lead problems. The filtration system’s technology is
what differentiates ZeroWater from other businesses in the water filtration category. ZeroWater employs a 5-stage filtering process that is more comprehensive than
those that other water filtration systems offer. More specifically, the company’s Ion Exchange Technology outperforms simple carbon-only based filtration with the
removal of virtually all detectable dissolved solids.

Charitable Acts
When the Flint, Michigan lead crisis broke earlier this year, ZeroWater responded in a big way. Before all was said and done, the company has donated almost
$300,000 worth of filters and pitchers to the Flint community. ZeroWater water filtration pitchers were handed out to all elementary schools in the affected
area’s exceeding a maximum contaminant level (MCL) of 0.015mg/L, the action benchmark set by the Environmental Protection Agency. The company has since
expanded its philanthropic initiatives to help other communities that are in need of assistance with their lead problems including Filters for Flint and more, with
continuous donations to communities and schools in need. Above and beyond, ZeroWater is providing detailed resources for consumers and communities on
how and where to get water tested properly for lead contamination on their website, www.zerowater.com. The aim of this nationwide and ongoing endeavor is
to ensure children everywhere are protected from the destructive risk of lead poisoning in drinking water and to bring awareness to the fact that this is not a
localized crisis, lead is becoming a nationwide issue.

ZeroWater Expands Ready-Pour Line-Up with New 10-Cup Round Pitcher
New pitcher design meets consumer needs for added style and versatility
Trevose, PA – January 2017 – To ensure consumers are provided with clean-water options for the home,
ZeroWater has migrated from their traditional pitcher style and announced the launch of a new round,
10-Cup Ready-Pour device. The extension of the Ready-Pour pitcher line comes from the desire to give
consumers healthy drinking options that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. (MSRP $34.99;
www.zerowater.com)
Like previous models in the Ready-Pour line, the new round 10-cup is designed with a sealed lid and
reservoir that enables consumers to pour water that has already been filtered without spilling water that is
still in reserve, which results in a much faster fill time. The Round 10-cup Ready-Pour Pitcher holds eight
cups of water in the body and two additional cups in in reserve. As a result, users can be assured that every
drop they are drinking has been filtered via ZeroWater’s premium five-stage, dual-ion exchange filtration system. This maintains the
ZeroWater quality, removing 99.6 percent of dissolved solids and providing the purest-tasting water on the market that is NSF certified to
reduce lead and other heavy metals such as chromium 3 and 6.
The 10-Cup Ready-Pour pitcher retails for $34.99 and comes with a digital Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) meter (value of $20.00), at no
additional cost to the consumer. This meter measures dissolved solids and indicates when the filter has been exhausted and should be
replaced. As the only water filter in its class to meet the FDA’s definition for TDS in purified bottled water, this meter allows users to see at
a glance the purity of the water they are drinking.
According to Water Quality Association statistics cited by the Environmental Protection Agency in its “Water Health Series Filtration Facts,”
nearly half of Americans use a home water treatment unit. Many of these individuals choose water filtration pitchers based on their
convenience and affordability. No other pitcher on the market marries those two facets, and combines such variety in design, quite as well
as ZeroWater’s innovative product line.

ZeroWater Expands Ready-Pour Line-Up with New 7-Cup Pitcher
New pitcher design offers space savings with added capacity
Trevose, PA – January 2017 –Moving into 2017 with many new initiatives, ZeroWater is also debuting a new 7-cup Ready
Pour pitcher, with increased capacity and a small footprint. With 6 cups held within the body and an additional cup in the
reserve, the 7-cup Ready-Pour not only increases fill time but also maintains the space saving quality. (MSRP $21.99;
www.zerowater.com)
“Consumers not only want a healthy option for water filtration but also something that is functionally designed with their
kitchen and home needs,” said Tony Petruzzi, marketing director for ZeroWater. “The easiest way to ensure that is to
provide them with options that blend into their current kitchen aesthetic, whether that is for space saving reasons or for
aesthetics.”
The new 7-cup pitcher implements the same blueprint behind all of ZeroWater’s Ready-Pour pitchers. It is designed with a sealed lid and reservoir that
enables consumers to pour water that has already been filtered without spilling water that is in reserve, which results in a much faster fill time. ZeroWater’s
filtration technology is NSF certified to reduce lead and other heavy metals such as; chromium 3 and 6.
All products use the premium filtration system which combines five stages of filtration that work together to remove virtually all total dissolved solids (TDS),
2x more than conventional filters. ZeroWater's first layer of filtration, activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy, removes the chlorine taste you are
accustomed to with tap water. The Ion Exchange stage removes virtually all dissolved solids that may be left over from public water systems or even leached
into your water from piping, such as aluminum, lead, zinc, nitrates, and more. Three additional stages are included to remove other impurities and ensure
your water receives the appropriate amount of treatment time to deliver water that has virtually zero dissolved solids.
The 7-Cup Ready-Pour pitcher retails for $21.99 and comes with a digital Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) meter (value of $20.00), at no additional cost to the
consumer. This meter measures dissolved solids and indicates when the filter has been exhausted and should be replaced. As the only water filter in its class
to meet the FDA’s definition for TDS in purified bottled water, this meter allows users to see at a glance the purity of the water they are drinking.
