Micron Scholarship Application
With funding from the Micron Foundation, Boise State University is pleased to
sponsor the Micron Scholarship program during the 2016-2017 academic year.
This program is designed to support undergraduate students who are majoring in
a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) discipline, with plans to
become a STEM educator in grades K-12 after graduation from Boise State.
This program will provide up to $2,500 per year toward tuition at Boise State
University for IDoTeach candidates who are selected for the scholarship program.
Requirements for eligibility:
 Be admitted to the IDoTeach program at Boise State University
 Be making progress towards a STEM education degree
 Have a minimum GPA of 2.75
Preference will be given to the following applicants:
 Students majoring in computer science or engineering

Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts from Boise State are acceptable; however, we need to be able to see the
names, number of credits, and grade earned for each class.
Undergraduate Plan of Study
With your advisor, develop a plan of study that demonstrates how you will complete your
degree and certification through the STEM-ED emphasis within two years. You will need the
equivalent of the major in the STEM content area to be considered for this scholarship. A list
of academic advisors is available at https://aae.boisestate.edu/advisingcontacts/. Have your
advisor sign the plan of study and attach it to this application.
