Nervous Anxious Child
Supporting children when they are nervous or anxious can be tricky. Often
parents can become nervous or anxious themselves or even impatient and
cross with their child.
Dr Victoria Clay from LifeWise will help parents understand what anxiety is,
why children persistently worry about things, and how parents and carers can
best support children experiencing nervousness and anxiety. Dr Clay presents
this topic in an easy to understand way to ensure that parents can learn tips
and strategies for building confident and resilient children.

Parents Don’t have to be Perfect
Let’s be honest. Being a parent is hard work. These days there are many
expectations placed on parents (especially from television and social media)
and this can lead to confusion and even angst about being a “Perfect Parent”.
Dr Victoria Clay from LifeWise offers an alternative view of parenting. She will
discuss the importance of caring for yourself as an individual, while still ticking
the boxes for being a “Good-enough Parent”.
