HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FOOT LENGTH

H
OW TO MEASURE
YOUR FOOT LENGTH
Lay a piece of paper
on the ground. Place
your foot (wearing a
sock) on top of it.
The results are more
accurate if you stand
on the paper.
Draw a pair of parallel
lines at the toe and heel
of your foot - as shown
to the right - at the very
furthest points.
Measure the distance
between these two
lines.
THIS IS YOUR FOOT
LENGTH.
Take a pen that isn’t too
fat, hold it snuggly
against your foot, and
trace the outline of your
foot all the way around...
make sure to keep the
pen perpendicular to the
page at all times. (i.e.
don’t let the pen slant
diagonally to the page,
under your foot)
(28.5 + 1.5) x 1.5
30 x 1.5
28,5 cm
= size 45
size
You can also measure
your foot length by
placing the paper and
your heel against a
wall and marking the
tip of your longest toe.
The distance between
the wall and the mark
is your foot length.
Finally, you may find it
helpful, to meassure your
FOOT WIDTH, at the
widest point of your foot.
This is not essential for
size calculations but, if
you know yourself to
have a rather wide foot,
you may want to consider
taking a larger size than
your length dictates.
