12 MOVIES FOR FREE
The Ciné-Club screens a French movie
with English subtitles every Tuesday night
at 8pm. It is not only a great way to practise
your listening comprehension but it is also
a wonderful window over French culture.

Once a month on Sunday, in our theatre,
we screen a movie for children. Kids are
offered a free "goûter" (croissant, pain au

At Alliance Française, we believe immersing students in French is the best way for them to
quickly become proficient. Right from day one, the objective is to make them use and play
with the language. English can sometimes be used to clarify a point or to overcome a specific
obstacle but we truly want to maximise the exposure to French language during the time
spent in class.

explained by the teachers and that have to be fulfilled in a term. In order to develop the

the classroom.

In this course, children will have the

This course teaches pre-teens to read,
write and communicate while developing
a strong grammatical basis, all in French.
This course, perfectly paced for pre-teens,
offers the opportunity to learn French in a
friendly yet stimulating environment.
YOUTHS
Ages 13 - 15
Speak French from day one! Youths
learn everyday expressions and
phrases, ask and answer basic
questions. Authentic situational
exercises introduce to the structure
and use of language in everyday life.
Starting with the Zouzous 4 bilingues,
these courses are for children who speak
French: either they attend a French school
or French is spoken at home as a second
language of communication or their
level is excellent. Two main objectives
for this course: to maintain the school
knowledge and savoir-faire in French that
are necessary to be able to join the French
education system if needed, and to make
sure French becomes a true medium for
intellectual and personal development for
genuine cross cultural children. Children
are only eligible for these classes after
taking a placement test that will assess
their level in French.
Holiday Camps
Ages 5 – 11 +
During the holiday day camps, children
are immersed in the French language
through workshops and activities designed
to educate and entertain. Through thematic
weeks, children embark on a voyage into a
sensory, imaginary, creative and magical
world. Each week, children explore the
French language and culture through
storytelling, theatre, arts and crafts, singing
and culinary workshops while developing
strong communication skills in French!

session registration is encouraged for

Registration in person at the counter is available throughout the year during hours of
operation.
Payment can be made either by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), NETS or in cash.
Checks are not accepted. Registration is confirmed upon the full payment of the fees at
the counter.
ONLINE REGISTRATION
Easy, quick and secure, online registration is available for all courses (toddlers, kids, teens,
adults) @ afsingapour.extranet-aec.com.
YOUR ALLIANCE FRANçAISE ONLINE ACCOUNT
Once you are registered, you automatically have an online account from which you can
buy classes, books, movie tickets, etc. You can also update your personal information and
consult your marks if you take tests.
YOUR ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE MEMBERSHIP
The Alliance Française de Singapour being an official registered Society, all students
must become members. A fee of S$30 (GST included) is to be paid upon enrolment and
membership is valid for 12 months.
10% EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT FOR continuing STUDENTS
Continuing students receive a 10% discount on their course fees when they register online
within the first 2 weeks of the registration period. This discount applies for consecutive
terms of full-session.
REFER A FRIEND or sibling & SAVE 10%
Refer a friend (new student) to the AF & get 10% off your current term! Your friend will also
receive a 5% discount. Referral forms are available at alliancefrancaise.org.sg. You must be

REGISTRATION
PRIORITY POLICY FOR TODDLERS
Priority registration in the same class (same age and day/time) is given to continuing
toddlers from one term to the other during the first 4 weeks of a term with 10% discount.
Available for walk-in registrations only.
HALF TERM REGISTRATION
Students can register either for the first or the last 4 weeks of a term at 65% of full price.
Available for walk-in registrations only.
MULTIPLE REGISTRATION
Registration for any 2 full courses (same term) at one time entitles you to a 5% discount
and a 10% discount for 3 full courses (same term). Available for walk-in registrations only.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
Students cannot make up for a missed class by attending a similar class on a different
day/time. Make-up classes are available at $65/hour (for one student) or $100/hour (for
2 to 3 students of the same class) if you missed a class and want to catch up. Maximum
3 hours per term. The 4th hour will be applied at private tuition rate. Fees include GST.
Make-up classes are to be taken within the same term of the missed class or within the
first 2 weeks of the following term and under the condition to be registered in a regular
course.

Discounts can be cumulated to a maximum of 25%.
Discounted course fees cannot be refunded or deferred.

CLASSES REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION
Registration is not finalized as long as the ‘Terms and Conditions’ form has not been
read and signed for acceptance. A specific registration form is to be filled for DELF/DALF
Preparation courses available at the reception desk.

REFUNDS & DEFERMENTS
No refund for workshops. No refund or deferment for discounted course fees. Classes paid
with a credit note cannot be refunded or re-credited. 15% of the course fees will be charged
for refund for a course cancelled two weeks before the beginning of a term. No refund is
accepted after the beginning of the term. An administration fee of S$20 will be charged if
deferment is applied after the commencement of the session upon the student’s request.

COURSE CANCELLATION
AF reserves the right to cancel classes and workshops, adjust curriculum, and to change
teachers during terms if necessary without advanced notice. Courses can be cancelled due
to insufficient enrolment, unavailability of an instructor, or inability to schedule appropriate
instructional space. When a course is cancelled, students are notified by telephone and/
or email and given the option to transfer to another course, to receive a credit note (valid
for 6 months), to defer to the next term or to be fully refunded. Transfer from one course to
another within the same term is allowed only within the first 2 weeks of the term. Higher
price differences are to be paid by the student. Lower price differences are not reimbursed
by the Alliance Française but compensated for by a credit note.
CLASS REGULATIONS
For the comfort of all, the use of cell phones is not allowed in classrooms. Eating and
drinking are not permitted while the class is conducted.

Textbooks and workbooks can be purchased either online or from Alliance Française
bookshop. Textbooks and workbooks are not refundable. Exchange can be done on the
condition that books be in perfect shape to be for sale again. Higher price differences
