architecture enables you to deploy devices anywhere on any cable with FSK communication. When combined with
ION’s DigiFIN® lateral streamer steering and DigiBIRD® II depth control, it’s the most effective and reliable positioning
system available today.
DigiRANGE II Acoustic Ranging System
DigiRANGE II improves image quality by reducing positional
uncertainty for the entire towed streamer array through
acoustic source-to-receiver range measurements. Compatible
with all ION acoustic technology, it improves positional
accuracy, reduces in-water range acquisition time and
efficiently increases network density.

Host Interface Protocol
