As you are aware, in May 2008 the Environment Agency raised a holding
objection to the planning application resulting from their ongoing modelling of
river flows in the River Wey. The accompanying Addendum Development
Framework/Design and Access Statement explains the background to the design
changes and the proposed way forward which has agreed with the Environment
Agency. This document also formally responds to the questions raised at the
Waverley Technical Briefing held on 28 May 2008.

Please find enclosed a formal amendment to the above full planning application
submitted on behalf of Crest Nicholson Regeneration Limited and Sainsbury’s
Supermarkets Limited.
Please find enclosed the requisite number of amended application drawings and
supporting reports. We have also enclosed a full set of application drawings and
supporting reports in electronic format on CD.
This application is accompanied by an Addendum to the Environmental
Statement and in accordance with the EIA Regulations, a Notice advertising the
Addendum will be placed in the Farnham Herald. In addition, further copies of
the ES Addendum on CD can be obtained by members of the public/interested
parties direct from Waverley Borough Council.
