Community National Bank

Since our bank’s Charter was issued
October 4, 1984, let’s reflect back to
some of the history of Community National Bank.
In the fall of 1983, fifteen couples or
individuals joined together to create
Community National Bank, a bank for
the people of Nemaha County. These
members were the original stockholders of the bank. This group has now
grown to include 125 couples or individuals that participate in the ownership of the bank. Community National
Bank is unique, as it is truly owned by
the people and no individual holds over
8% in stock. The stockholders of this
bank are farmers, business owners,
wage earners, retired persons and bank
employees who have a strong desire to
see the community prosper.

Community National Bank began its
business with a staff of six full time
employees at 210 Main where it is still
located. Today however, Community
National Bank has a Retirement Plans
Division in a new building at 225
Main, Seneca along with branch locations in Tonganoxie, Basehor and Sabetha, Kansas. Community National
Bank currently employees 79 people.

Microsoft To End Support For Windows XP
If you haven’t heard this news already, Microsoft has scheduled the end of support for
their Windows XP operating system in April
of 2014. What does this mean to you? This
means that Microsoft will no longer be creating security patches or updates for Windows
XP. Also, technical support will no longer be
available beyond the April 8, 2014 deadline.
Microsoft has several resources and suggestions for you if you find that you will be affected by this; including links to check if you PC

We are all looking forward to Fall, a favorite
time of year. Cool weather, school sports, and the

Holiday
Season.
Everyone had
a
great
time at the Leavenworth
County Fair in August.
Community National had
a prize winning float in
the parade and
we
bought several head of 4H and FFA livestock at
the Friday Night Auction.
We had a tremendous
turn-out for our Customer
Appreciation Day in September. And we do appreciate our customers!
Community
should be out later this
year thanks to the
many contributions of
our customers. All of
them sound delicious!
Sooner than we think it
will be the Holidays
with Thanksgiving and
Christmas approaching
and always a good
time to be thankful for
all that we have and
friends too numerous
