However, there was an earlier Republican Party in U.S. history that was the strongest political party in the United States during the first 25 years of the 1800’s. It was this earlier Republican Party that actually birthed the modern day Democratic Party. [The earlier Republican Party had nothing to do with the founding of the later Republican Party.] Here is the story of the earlier Republican Party birthing the Democratic Party: George Washington was of the Federalist Party. A party that opposed the Federalists arose in the late 1700’s, right before Thomas Jefferson became president. The opposition party was the Republican Party, known by many as Jefferson Republicans. This Republican Party was the party of the next four presidents, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, and John Quincy Adams. In fact, John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson, who faced one another in the election of 1824, were both of this Republican Party. (left) Chief Justice John Marshall administers the oath of office to Andrew Jackson on the east portico of the U.S. Capitol, March 4, 1829 Because of the problematic 1824 election, there was great bitterness surrounding the 1828 election, with Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams squaring off once again. During this time, the factions were so great in the Republican Party that the supporters of John Quincy Adams came to be known as the National Republicans. The supporters of Andrew Jackson simply called themselves Republicans, but also Democratic Republicans. The Democratic Republicans became the Democrats. In essence, the Democrats were birthed as a party by #2831 The Yom Kippur War and the Abomination of Desolation – The post-World War II U.S. waxing great Page 1 of 2 toward the South and toward the East as a second Syria/Antiochus IV Epiphanes, part 1090, Jackson Wild Ass Men, (xvi), The first Republican Party birthed the Democrats Andrew Jackson in the election of 1828. However, it wasn’t until the election of 1832 that the party held its first national convention, nominating President Jackson for a second term. [For those who are studying this material please note, for convenience sake and to avoid confusion, that the Republican Party of Thomas Jefferson referred to above is often called the Democratic-Republicans as applied to its entire history, although it actually was never called the Democratic-Republican Party until the faction of Andrew Jackson was sometimes called the Democratic Republicans, eventually to be simply called the Democratic Party.] Key Understanding: Republicans and Democrats. The Lord ordained the ‘first Republican Party’ to birth the Democratic Party to illustrate that the spirit of the modern day Republicans is identical to the spirit of the modern day Democrats. In the Lord’s eyes, there is no difference between a Republican and a Democrat. Both are fallen. Each represents man being born like a wild ass’s colt. Job 11:12 (KJV) For vain man would be wise, THOUGH MAN BE BORN [with a natural birthright to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness] LIKE A WILD ASS’S [Jack’s] COLT [son]. << Previous Main Page and List of Unsealing Summaries Next >> #2831 The Yom Kippur War and the Abomination of Desolation – The post-World War II U.S. waxing great Page 2 of 2 toward the South and toward the East as a second Syria/Antiochus IV Epiphanes, part 1090, Jackson Wild Ass Men, (xvi), The first Republican Party birthed the Democrats
