Fourth Sunday of Easter
From the Pastor’s Desk
1st Communion and May Crowning: We congratulate our 1st Communicants who make their 1 st
Communion this weekend. We thank their teachers and parents and all who helped prepare them to
reach this milestone in their faith. We also thank those who participated in the beautiful May
Crowning this weekend and thank in a special way our KOC 4 th Degree Honor Color Guard who
always lend color to such celebrations by their presence.
Thanks for the generous response to Redeemer Radio “St Therese Hour”: We thank all our
parishioners who called in last week or made pre- Sharathon pledges for the St Therese Hour of
Redeemer Radio Spring Sharathon. Our School Principal (Ms Jeanette Donovan), along with our
School kid, Alondra, the DRE (Linda Thomas) and the Pastoral Council Chairperson (Terry Tescula),
represented the parish and spoke eloquently of what is going on in our Church and School. The
Radio Station met their goal of $2500 from our parish for that hour, thanks to your generosity.
Call for prayers for the Anyanwu and Teteh families: We received news from Nigeria of the
passing of Lady Helen A Anyanwu KSJ, (nee Teteh). She was the immediate younger sister of Fr
Lawrence Teteh, the Pastor of St Therese Parish, Fort Wayne. Please, keep her family and the
Teteh family in your prayers.

THANK YOU
Merci!
Thank you very much for your support
at our bake sale last Sunday,
especially Father Lawrence for
allowing us to do this. Because of the
generosity of our parish, we raised
$472 to help us pay expenses for our
trip to study in France this summer.
We really appreciate all of you!

The family of Tom Smith would like to
thank our St. Therese family for the
prayers, love and support shown to
Tom and us during his battle with
dementia.
Father Lawrence showed so much
compassion to all of us. The music at
