Mercedes-Benz Malaysia proudly presents its newest line-up – the Mercedes-Benz SUVs, as a
continuation of its product offensive strategy. With the launch of the premium SUV range from
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, the luxury SUV segment in Malaysia is being reinvented by the
premium market leader and the inventor of the automobile.
The premium luxury SUV range was presented at the launch in Kuala Lumpur, consisting of the
Mercedes-Benz GLC, GLE and GLE Coupé. Each vehicle offering a vastly unique and exciting concept,
made to suit the active lifestyle of the Malaysian customers.

Mercedes-Benz GLC: Get the best out of your day
The Mercedes-Benz GLC is the premium mid-sized SUV ready to complement the active lifestyle of
the Malaysian customers. With AMG bodystyling and 20-inch AMG Multi-spoke Light-alloy wheels, the
GLC possesses an added sporty yet exclusive look. The sports-tuned suspension allows a sportier style
of driving without compromising on comfort. Its agility and sportiness are further enhanced by the
4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive and 9G-TRONIC. This automatic transmission takes efficiency,
comfort and dynamism to a completely new level.
The wide range of the state-of-the art safety and assistance systems, such as LED Intelligent Light
System, PRE-SAFE system and COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS are there to provide unsurpassed
protection in any situation, you will feel completely at ease all the time.

The interior is not only suit your active lifestyle, but features an unrivalled design that is strikingly
gorgeous to look at. Through the effective use of space and intelligent packaging, the engineers have
also managed to increase the size of the luggage compartment with level a load area and its attendant
utility value substantially. The rear bench features a 40/20/40 split and offers a cargo position which
increases the load capacity by locking the backrests at a steeper angle.
The load capacity behind the rear bench increases by 80 to 110 litres, to a total of up to 580 litres. In
all, the GLC is able to transport up to 1600 litres – 50 litres more than was previously possible. The
maximum luggage compartment length is 1320 millimetres, while the maximum width increases by 150
to 1100 millimetres.
The GLC is also equipped with KEYLESS-GO convenience package. Added convenience for loading and
unloading is provided by HANDS FREE ACCESS, which enables the tailgate to be opened automatically
by performing a swiping movement with the foot under the bumper. The panoramic sliding sunroof
further enhances the light and airy feel inside.
The GLC also features a high-end Burmester® surround sound system. Loaded with 13 highperformance speakers, the Burmester experience is an extraordinarily expressive, three-dimensional with
with outstanding moving sound that is unrivalled in its class.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE is a full-sized luxury SUV, which can be best described by precision, power
and prestige. It offers no compromises - combining unrivalled luxury, functionality, style and
performance in one strikingly designed package, presenting customers with the exclusive privilege of
owning an SUV of the highest quality of luxury and refinement. The GLE offers drivers the space to lead
an active lifestyle and an incomparable driving experience and road-handling abilities, with the luxury and
comfort of a Mercedes-Benz.
With the AMG Line exterior, the GLE has an even more dynamic and athletic appearance, with 21-inch 5twin-spoke AMG alloy wheels on the GLE 400 4MATIC and 20-inch 5-Spoke Alloy Wheels in the GLE
250 d 4MATIC.
The GLE provides the largest load compartment in the segment. With a generously-sized cabin and even
larger luggage space, the GLE is the perfect luxury vehicle for a getaway with your family or friends.
Three golf bags can be easily fitted in the boot.
Outstanding safety and a high level of driving dynamics both on the road and in terrain are among the
other strengths of the premium SUV. Furthermore, the GLE impresses with ground-breaking assistance
systems, the nine-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission on the GLE 250 d and the innovative
DYNAMIC SELECT dynamic handling control system, which offers extensive drive programmes already in
basic specification. In addition, the AIRMATIC air suspension with ADS variable damping system
guarantees extremely stable driving. The damping system changes its priorities depending on the
preselected DYNAMIC SELECT mode. The current handling conditions are detected via a steering angle
sensor, four rotation sensors, the driving speed from the ESP® signal and the brake pedal switch. The
control unit uses these signals for continuous adjustment of the current damping force for each
individual wheel. It sets a new benchmark for the luxury SUV category, achieving unprecedented levels
of performance, style, ride comfort, safety and functionality.
The Driving Assistance Package Plus includes DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist and Stop&Go Pilot,
PRE-SAFE® Brake with pedestrian protection, BAS PLUS with Cross-Traffic Assist, Active Blind Spot
Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and PRE-SAFE® PLUS are available in the GLE 400 4MATIC. The
Parking package with 360° camera and Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC, available in both

models guarantees an excellent overview and problem-free manoeuvring into and out of parking spaces.
Night-time vision is improved by the LED Intelligent Light System.
Rear Seat Entertainment System with DVD player provides passengers in the rear with their very own
programme of entertainment. Two 20.3 cm displays and Kleer wireless headphones ensure brilliant
picture and sound quality. In conjunction with COMAND Online, passengers can access the
entertainment source of their choice, independently of the other passengers.
Customers will be able to choose from two dynamic and highly capable powertrains with excellent power
and efficiency - a petrol-powered GLE 400 4MATIC and a diesel-powered GLE 250 d 4MATIC.

Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupé: Make a grand entrance every time
The GLE Coupé is the Sports Utility Coupé from Mercedes-Benz. Its striking and exciting design with
an aggressive appearance combines the athletic characteristics of a SUV with the sporty nature of a
coupé resulting in a vehicle that is intense, beautiful and full of passion.
Intense, beautiful, and full of passion, the GLE Coupe comes with a priceless and commanding presence.
The GLE Coupé not only skilfully embodies the firmly embedded principles of Mercedes-Benz design, but
also focuses on the essential features of two entirely different automobile genres. On the one hand, the
youngest member of the GLE family bears the decisive, essential stylistic feature of all modern
Mercedes-Benz coupés: it combines sheer sportiness with a high-level aesthetic and sensual demand for
modern luxury. At the same time, however, elements of the classic SUV are recognisable. With muscular
wings, large wheel arches, tyres of up to 22 inches, and also the high belt line and the generous ground
clearance, this model takes the perception of a large, four-door coupé to the next level.
The extreme proportions with superior aesthetics of the new GLE Coupé have emerged from this stylistic
gene pool. This is particularly due to the extremely exciting relationship between the low greenhouse and
striking body; the silhouette signals dynamism and agility. The upright sports grille with single louvre,
framed by three-dimensionally designed LED Intelligent headlamps, is the major feature of the front end
with its short, stylish overhang.
The balancing act between being extremely sporty yet comfortable has been mastered especially well in
the GLE 450 AMG. As the first AMG sports model, GLE Coupé enables an attractive entry to the world of
the sports car and performance brand. The performance-enhanced V6 biturbo engine with an output of
270 kW (367 hp) and 520 Nm from 1400 rpm delivers performance akin to a sports car. The DYNAMIC
SELECT transmission mode Sport+ is always available in the top-of-the-range model.
Its sporty AMG exterior design including exhaust system with AMG tailpipe trim elements with
centrepiece and 22-inch 5 Twin-spoke AMG Alloy Wheels is sure to give you the adrenaline rush every
time you get behind the wheels.
