The International Directory of Philosophy contains
information on university philosophy departments
and programs, philosophical societies, associations,
research centers and institutes, journals, and philosophy publishers around the world. It consolidates
in electronic format all information previously published in the Directory of American Philosophers and
the International Directory of Philosophy and Philosophers. The database contains listings for

All listings are free and can be updated online.
The Philosophy Research Index is an indexing
database of bibliographic information on articles,
books, reviews, dissertations, and other documents
in philosophy. Its goal is to provide searchable bibliographic coverage of a definable portion of the
known philosophical literature in several western
languages. Coverage ranges from the year 1460
to the present, with citations of material in English,
Spanish, German, French, Italian, Latin, and other
languages. At the end of 2011 the PRI database
contained over 830,000 citations, including:

► 20,261 dissertations
The database supports a variety of searching and
browsing options, with faceted search results and an
integrated time line. Users can save or export citations
for later use, and social networking functionality is
provided to facilitate information sharing. A translation function is also available to help users combine
all results into English.
All listings are free and data can be submitted
online.
