Word from the Director
It's hard to believe we are already
into August and the end of summer
camp. As always the time just
seems to fly by. Everyone is having a
great time and enjoying a lot of the
great activities. We've had a lot of
exciting shows and events. We're
looking forward this month to Louis
the Magician from Childtime Magic,
a petting zoo from Pony to Go,
Jonathan the Juggler will be
entertaining us, and to wrap up the
summer the one man band Peter
McCory.
Our very special end of Summer
Show and Picnic will be held on
Friday, August 26th at 3:00 PM. We
will have a great show and lots of
good food! If you haven’t already
made plans to attend, we’d love to
see you all here. Preschool, Pre-K,
and School Age 1 and 2 have been
working hard on their performances
that are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

4th and to Ms. La'Anja on the 17. We
hope you ladies have a wonderful day.
The last day of summer camp is
August 26th and the first day of
public school is August 29th. The
Preschoolers this year will have the
week of the August 29th to
September 2nd as a transition week.
During this week they will get to know
there new teachers, friends, and
surroundings before we jump into the
curriculum after Labor Day on
September 6th.
Thank you to everyone that
participated in our Trike-a-thon. The
kids had a blast as usual. This is a
wonderful cause and we appreciate all
the support.
Please help us get our name out.
Enrollment is open year around and if
someone enrolls and you are the one
that referred them, you can get a free
week's tuition! The highest
compliment we can get from our
parents are when they refer someone
to us.
If you're not already friends with us on
Facebook please friend us. We post
lots of pictures of the kids activities.
We have had a lot of great people
helping make this summer special. All
of our wonderful parent volunteers,
who have taken time out of their busy
schedules and of course all of the
Little Learners staff. Everyone has
worked hard to make sure this is a
memorable summer for all our kids.

Infant News ~ Ms. Beatriz & Ms. Vicky
It's hard to believe it is already August.
Summer is going by so quickly and our babies
are growing up so fast!

Time to eat
Robert is eating school lunch and spends a
lot of his day in the T1 class. He loves to
explore the playground. Izzy is walking all
around the classroom and is also eating
school lunch. She loves spending time in the
T1 class too. Holly is a sweet girl and she
loves tickling her teachers. She is starting
to take her first steps. Our youngest one
Alexandra is growing so fast. She is always
exploring and walking with a little help. We
love spending our days with these sweet
babies :)
Happy 1st birthday to Alexandra on the
11th. Hope you have a great day Beautiful!
Also a happy birthday to Ms. Alex on the
4th and Ms. La'Anja on the 17th, hope your
day is amazing.

Toddler One News ~ Ms. Raquel
Splash Day!
Welcome to August, our last month of
summer. We have many fun activities
and art projects planned for the month.
We will be gluing, coloring painting and
making foot and handprints this month
to go along with our themes for the
month which are Buggin out, Survivor,
Atlantis and Aloha Summer. We willhave
a transition week at the end of the
month.
which the kids love and cooking projects on
Fridays.
We still have Splash days once a week
Parent's Night out is on Friday the 19th.
We are enjoying Robbie and Izzy from the Infant
class visiting us. They have a lot of fun with us
and we know the transition will be nice and
easy for them.

Toddler Two News ~ Ms. La'Anja & Ms. Kate
We would first like to welcome Ms.
Kate to the Toddler 2 class. She has
been very helpful and is doing a
wonderful job. Thank you Ms. Kate :)
Everyone has been enjoying themselves
with all the fun things that we have
been doing so far this summer.
Fun time riding the bus
The themes for this month are Buggin
Out, Survivor, Atlantis and Aloha
Summer. Our fun In House shows this
month are Childtime Magic, Pony to
Go, John the Juggler and Peter
McCory-The One Man Band. On August
26th we will be having a summer picnic
to end our summer camp program. We
will post a signup sheet soon. Hope to
see you all there.
We are excited for the last month of
summer camp and also look forward to
getting ready for the school year to
begin.

Preschool News ~Ms. Nicol, Ms. Diamon & Ms. Divina
Our summer is going awesome and we look
forward to a fantastic August. Pool and
Splash days almost every day are keeping
us busy and we are always excited to
participate in our in house shows.
Relaxing in the bucket ;)
This month is full of fun. We will be
expecting lots of great guests and things
to do to complete our summer camp
calendar. Our themes for August are:
Buggin out, Survivor, Atlantis, and Aloha
Summer.
Our Special guests this month will be:
Childtime Magic, Pony to go, John the
Juggler, and Peter McCory on man band.
Also we will be going on a fieldtrip on
August 24th to Chuck-E-Cheese. This will
be a morning fieldtrip so please make sure
your child is here by 9:30 am that day, you
are always welcome to join us.
We will end our camp with a summer show
and picnic on August 26th. Our kids are
practicing every day; they cannot wait to
perform for all the parents. There will be a
sign up sheet for any food we will need for
the picnic. We hope to see you there.
Let’s say thank you to June’s mom and Ms.
Nouhad for joining us at the pool and to all
the parent’s that collected donations in
our trike-a-thon. Thank you very much for
allowing us to work with your children.

Pre-K News ~ Ms. Preeti & Ms. Lesley
Summer camp is going by so fast and we
are looking forward to our upcoming

Thank you so much to the parents that
have volunteered on our fieldtrips. The
help is very much appreciated.
We are excited for our fieldtrips to Signal
Bay, Great Country Farms, Atlantis
Waterpark and Chuck-e-Cheese. Please
check our volunteer sign up sheet if you
would like to help on any of these
fieldtrips.
We are also looking forward to see
Childtime Magic, Jon the Juggler, Pony
to Go and Peter McCory, the one man
band.
Everyone seems to be really enjoying all of
our activities and shows this summer.
Our end of summer show and picnic will be
on Friday August 26th @3pm. Everyone is
welcome to join us. The children have been
practicing hard for their show. We will be
posting a sign up sheet for the picnic soon.

School Age One ~ Ms. Deh
Hi Parents! I can't believe August is here.
This summer is flying by. We are not ready
for it to end! Let's give a warm welcome to
Ms. Alex. She has become a part of our
classroom this summer and are so
excited to have her. She is so helpful and
your children adore her :)
Parents remember there are a few more
fieldtrips this summer and you are
welcome to chaperone. I know a few of you
have already done so and a few are in the
coming weeks. Thank you for all your help!
Please remember on fieldtrip days to have
your child here between 8:30& 9:00am.
This way we can get them ready in a
timely manner and not have to rush.
Some of the children's swim shoes need to
be replaced because of the damage done

This month Stars are Atticus & Alyse.
These two are competitive and loves
challenges. They enjoy reading and playing
with their friends. Congratulation you two!!

School Age Two ~ Ms. Brittany
The heat’s been turned up and so has
our summer fun. We’ve had so much fun
at the pool and on all our fieldtrips in
July. Looking forward to our fieldtrips
to come this month, we will be heading
to two more waterparks, Splashdown
(3rd) and Atlantis (18th), as well as
Great country Farms (11th), and our
annual end of Summer fieldtrip to
Chuck-E-Cheese (24th)! Thank you for
getting your children here on time so we
are able to leave on time for our
fieldtrips. Please feel free to sign up to
join us on any of our fieldtrips this
month.
Happy Birthday to Aidan, Jamie and
Adrian! We hope you all have a very
special day celebrating! We’d also like to
send a birthday shout out to Ms. Alex on
the 4th and Ms. La’Anja on the 17th!
Don’t forget about our Summer show on
August 26th. It’s going to be a great
time, the kids will perform some songs
and we will have lots of food to eat. You
won’t want to miss it!
