The school Tuckshop operates Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday & Friday from 8:00am to 1:30pm.
Eisteddfod
Chaplaincy
Congratulations to all of our students who have
participated in the Eisteddfod.
They have been
wonderful ambassadors for our school.
They have presented outstanding performances and, as
you would expect, their behaviour and manners in public
have been excellent.
We have started making crafts for the Father’s Day
Stall which will be held Wednesday 3rd and Thursday
4th of September. We will be holding craft days on
Tuesdays in August and invite anybody who is
interested in helping to contact us for time and
place. We also welcome any donations which we fully
appreciate, and need, to help run the stall. Donations
can be delivered to the uniform shop or office.

Inter School Sport - Week 1 – 25/07/14
Athletics Carnival
A wonderful couple of days were had at our annual
TESS Athletic Carnival where the children showed great
team spirit, determination and willpower to overcome
some horrendous conditions.
After two days of tense sporting rivalry, and for the fourth
year in a row, Leslie was awarded champion house for
2014.
Congratulations to all children who participated.

who both broke the 12yr girls 100m record of 14.21s set
in 2004.

gave their time to make the carnival a success.

Concert Band
Eisteddfod
Over the last few weeks several of our school musical
ensembles have performed at the Toowoomba
Eisteddfod. The Concert Band, Woodwind Ensemble,
String Orchestra, Stage Band, Year 7 String Ensemble
and the Brass Trio all produced high quality
performances. All students who participated in these
ensembles have shown much dedication and
enthusiasm to prepare for these performances. They
represented our school proudly and all performed
confidently. Congratulations to the Woodwind Ensemble
and the Concert Band who were awarded Highly
Commended placings. Thanks must also go to John
Redfearn, Stella Rotar and Jan Greville for preparing the
ensembles for the eisteddfod and to the parents of these
students for their support.
