Dear Families in the Gym Marika Program,

We regret to inform you that Marika, the owner of “Gym Marika Trampoline & Tumbling”, let us know
yesterday that she will be ending her partnership with UGI at the commencement of Winter Session (February
28th). At this time, there is no other location she is transferring her business to. UGI wishes her well in her
future endeavors.
With that said, you and your family still have some great options here at Universal Gymnasts for your son
and/or daughter. Your Annual Family Registration Fee DOES transfer over to UGI classes, so you will NOT have
to pay this again (unless of course it is due). We provide exceptional Tumbling classes, Ninja Zone classes, and
a multitude of gymnastics classes. If you would like to have your son/daughter try out anything we offer,
please give the office a call to schedule a time at 614-777-9430. Trials are free! See the following for our
Spring 1 Session Tumbling and Ninja Zone class times:

Tumbling Classes for boys and girls ages 6 years old and up
o This class focuses on tumbling skills, utilizing the floor, trampoline, and TumbleTrak
o The class is tailored to each individual’s level, allowing them to choose the skills they wish to
learn
o Students may choose a focused skill(s) to work on in class (Ex: To learn a round-off back
handspring or to straighten legs on a cartwheel)
 CLASS TIMES ($135, per 8 week session):
 Monday 8-9pm with Brittany
 Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm with Erin (NEW CLASS!)
 Thursday 5:30-6:30pm with Susan
o All Tumbling students receive a complimentary UGI Tshirt!

Back Handspring Class for boys and girls ages 6 years old and up
o The focus of this class is strictly on skills and drills designed to learn a back handspring
o This class may be good to add as a supplement
 CLASS TIME ($103, per 8 week session):
 Wednesday 5:30-6pm with Susan
o All Tumbling students receive a complimentary UGI Tshirt!

Ninja Zone Classes for boys and girls ages 3 years old and up --- JOIN US IN THE AWESOMENESS!
o This program is a clever combination of military style obstacle courses to develop strength and
speed, gymnastics tumbling, and Martial Arts training
o The sport of Ninja is, “To move uninterrupted through an environment or series of obstacles
with fluidity, prowess, and stealth. To use combinations of skillful spins, rolls, flips, jumps, and
kicks to elude an opponent.”
o Beyond skill our curriculum teaches confidence, being part of a group, impulse control
o Ninja Zone Level System (White  Yellow  Green  Blue) --- Currently grouped by age
o All Ninja Zone students receive a complimentary Ninja Headband!

Our goal at Universal Gymnasts, Inc. is to develop each individual’s potential in a safe and enjoyable
atmosphere. Using specific progressions and a highly trained staff, each child will learn the correct
fundamental and basic skills. This will equip him/her with the knowledge and ability to progress to whatever
level he/she aspires to achieve. As Safety Certified Instructors/Coaches, we use our knowledge and expertise
to help each child gain greater self-confidence and a more positive self- image. U.G.I. Provides USA
Gymnastics Safety Certified Staff. Instructors are also certified by the American Heart Association in CPR.
Classes are held in a safe, conservatively run facility for your child. We also present individual progress reports
per session to each child and host an awards ceremony, where every child receives an award!
Again, our apologies for this notice. I’m sure this was not an easy decision for Marika to make.
