Régulations for the French Ring Intercontinental Cup
The first edition of the FRENCH RING INTERCONTINENTAL CUP was organized by France
the 28th,29th & 30th of September 2007.
On the 16th & 17th of September 2017, a new edition of the FRENCH RING INTERCONTINENTAL CUP
will take place.
The objective is to develop and put at the forefront our beloved sport for all, including board members, directors,
judges, handlers, decoys and volunteers....from as many nations as possible.
This competition will take place on the territory of l’Association Canine Territoriale de CORREZE, with technical
support from the Club Cynophile du Pays de Brive (19).
1.
General organisation of the event .
. It will be a competition open to all nations that compete in French Ring. This new edition should be composed of the
following countries. This is a short list, there may be other countries participating.
Brazil,
Canada (Canadian Ringsport Association),
Spain (Federation Espagnole de Ring),
United States (North American Ringsport Association),
France (Societe Centrale Canine Française),
Italie (Societe Centrale Canine Italienne),
Morocco (Societe Centrale Canine Marocaine),
Mexico (Federation Canine Mexicaine),
Russia.
. The rules for this competition will be the existing rules edited under the responsibility of the CUN from the French
Societe Centrale Canine will be strictly applied.
2.
Conditions for participation of national teams :
The qualification and make up of each nation’s team will be the responsibility of each participating nation. Each nation
will decide on their own selection or choice process.
. Composition of a national team :
Each team will be made up of :
5 dogs in level 1 or 2 or 3.
The composition of the French team is as follows :
2 dogs in level 1 (the two first of the GP SCC 2017)
1 dog in level 2 (first of the GP SCC 2017)
2 dogs in level 3 (first and second place from the Championnat de France 2017)
. Special Rules.
To give each team of 5 a fair chance, while respecting the number of exercises and difficulty of each level, a handicap of
5% in level 1 and 2% in level 2 will equalize the % of points obtained. There is no handicap in level 3.

 Different possibilities for national teams:

Total of 5 dogs in all levels 1, 2 and 3.
*National team is limited to a 5 dog maximum.
3.
Rankings.
This competition will have two different rankings:
. Individual ranking per level.
. Team ranking established after the addition of the points based on 100 and the equalized points based on the handicap
of the 5 dogs competing for each national team in their respective levels. (see examples in tables above).
 The team rankings will start with teams of 5 dogs, followed by teams of 4 dogs, followed by teams of 3 dogs.... The
way the rankings are calculated will remain the same.

4.
The jury and decoys.
. Le The judge is chosen by the organizing country. For the 2017 edition, the GTR in France has chosen :
Alain KARCENTY.
. For the 2017 FRENCH RING INTERCONTINENTAL CUP the decoys are as follows:
-
1 decoy from another country : Misaël MERCADO ROSALES,
1 decoy having passed a level 3 selection in 2016. This decoy is the replacement decoy for the 2017 French cup.
Replacement decoy will be a decoy that passed a level 3 selection in 2016 : Matthieu BOUTONNET.
. Important : Decoys participating in the FRENCH RING INTERCONTINENTAL CUP must have a 2017 license.
5.
Presentation of the national teams-Opening ceremonies for the FRENCH RING INTERCONTINENTAL
CUP.
. National team clothing.
IIt would be preferable that each team have the same apparel as to be easily identified (hats, jackets or handler vests).
. Opening ceremonies for the FRENCH RING INTERCONTINENTAL CUP – Protocol.
The opening ceremonies for the FRENCH RING INTERCONTINENTAL CUP will be a ceremony where the
national teams will be presented to officials and the public following a determined protocol (presentation walk)to be
discussed at Open Field. Each team will have their national flag and the national anthems will be played.
The ceremony will be Friday evening.
6.
Organization logistics of the event, welcoming, living quarters for national teams.
.The organization of this event is the responsibility of the organizing club working with the general secretary of the
CUN and the Association Canine Territoriale competente.

. The organizers will provide a group of individuals to take care of all of the details related to the jury and the team
accommodations. There will be English and Spanish translators available.
. Team Support :
Handlers will be accommodated along with a partner from dinner on Friday night to breakfast on Monday morning.
Drinks at dinner included as well as housing for 2 people for 3 nights.


Ladies and Gentleman,
The Dog’s Association of CORREZE thanks the CUNCBG for having
entrusted to him the organization of the Intercontinental Cup of
French 2017.
This mission was(has been ?) entrusted to the Dog Club of the
région of Brive, accustomed to organize dog’s events national.
We will welcome you at Brive from Friday 15 september 2017 until
monday morning.
If you decide to borrow the flight Orly Brive the dogs are admitted in
the aircraft.
You will be accommodated (hosted ?)either at the hôtel « the
Colombier » at St Pantaléon of Larche or at the hôtel « Ace » at
Brive la Gaillarde (2mn from the field).
All meals and breakfasts will be served on the field, breakfasts from
6.30 am to 9.00 am.
For organizational reasons it would be nice to know your days and
times of arrival and départure and if you have an accompanying
person for the duration of your stay.
We remain at your desposal for any additional information.
