Alas, tis the life of a Methodist
pastor that the time comes to move
on to the next congregation.
Thanks JC for your friendship,
spiritual leadership, and pastoral
guidance. June, we’ll miss your
bright, sunny smile and sweet
disposition. We’ve shared laughter
and tears with you and your family
over the years.
We wish you
nothing but the best in the future.
God be with you till we meet again!
My Father Is A Christian
My father is a Christian;
He leads our household well;
With instruction from
the Bible,
Right behavior he'll compel.
Yet he steers us
with compassion;
His gentle love is true;
He conforms to our Lord Jesus,
So we know just what to do.
He teaches us with purpose,
Guides us in all Godly ways,
So we will take the right path,
And serve our Lord with praise.
I'm glad you're a
Christian, Dad;
You help me see things clearly.
I'll always look up to you,
And love you very dearly.
- Joanna Fuchs

Kids First Preschool and Daycare held their annual
Graduation Ceremony for the children who will be
moving on to kindergarten next year. Over 300
people were in attendance for the program in which
all the children performed songs for their family
and friends.
Congratulations to Directors Gwen
Perry & Nancy Hoye, and the children and staff for
the fine performances.
Congrats to Chris Bechtel, son of Melissa and Randy Bechtel,
on his graduation from Belton High School this year. Chris
was presented with a Bible from Youth Director Brian
Mason at last week’s Grad Recognition Ceremony during
the 10:10am Sunday morning worship service. Chris will be
attending the University of Missouri at Columbia.
Congrats also to Graduate Kamron Perry, who was unable
to attend the ceremony on Sunday morning.
Each preschool graduate received a diploma
and a gift from CrossRoads, presented by
Steve Anderson, Governing Board Chairman.
Grad Recognition & Bible
presentation to Chris Bechtel.
Congrats Chris!

Dearest CrossRoads family,
We will be on our way to Indy
on Wed, Jun 1. We offer to everyone
that if you get tickets to the 2012 Indy
500, you are welcome to stay with us
and avoid the high hotel costs. While
we would stay here in a heartbeat, we
are looking at our move as an
adventure and an opportunity to
explore another part of our beautiful
country. God bless America!
But the hardest part of all of this
is leaving our
family and friends
behind. We will very much miss our CrossRoads
family. We have been a part of one another for over
16 years and we take away very special memories of
the people, the music, and the children. Especially the
children. As we’ve always said, if you have an
opportunity to support the kids – through VBS,
Sunday school, children’s church – do it! You’ll love it
and the kids will love you for it.
The good news is this is a ‘see you later’
moment, more than a goodbye. We do plan to
return to the area in 2 years and we will certainly find
our way back to CrossRoads. Thanks to each of you
for the friendship you gave to us and for the well
wishes you send with us to Indy. We have been
blessed in sooo many ways. The CrossRoads family is
many of those blessings.
God bless each of you, Mike and Mona Roberts
