Two times table
Part 1...
Part 2...
0x2=0
Once you can recite the tables in order, ask a
helper to point to a number on the clock face. You
need to multiply this number by two and say the
answer within two seconds. If you can do this for
all of the numbers in a random order then you
know the two times tables off by heart!
1x2=2
2x2=4
3x2=6
4x2=8
5 x 2 = 10
6 x 2 = 12
7 x 2 = 14
8 x 2 = 16
9 x 2 = 18
10x 2 = 20
11 x 2 = 22
12 x 2 = 24
Please learn the two times tables in
order so that you can recite them
(e.g. “One times two equals two.
Two times two equals four...”)
Try the Times Tables Clock on the
School website (in the Year 2 blog
section).
Part 3… If you can already
do the above...
Try doing the inverse.
E.g. “24 divided by 2 equals 12.”
