More than 125 unique organizations already went plastic fishing with us. We know how important teambuilding is for our
customers, so we we’ll do everything to make the event a great
success. We have a personal approach; we love to think with
you to make you’re event an unique experience. We organize
events for groups from 8 to 150 people.

TEAMBUILDING
Whether you like it or not, plastic fishing will make you fanatical.
You want to fish more plastic than your colleagues.
Plastic Whale awards two prizes: a prize for the team that
fished the most fished plastic waste and a prize for the
team with the most original object. The price for the latter
is determined by the participants themselves; we ask the
teams to tell the other teams why their subject is the most
original. This always creates a lot of laughter and energy.
It’s very simple, but participants love it!
WASTEBOARD AS A SPECIAL PRICE
The use the plastic bottles that we fish for building boats.
The bottle caps are being used to build unique skateboards.
WasteBoards can design a uniwue Wasteboard in the colours
of your company. A cool prize for the winners of the plastic
fish competition!

You want to start the plastic fishing event at an unique place
with a coffee, tea and something sweet? MediaMatic offers
a warm welcome and is located very close to Amsterdam
Central Station. They also have several possibilities for
(vegetarian) lunch, diner and drinks.

ON BOARD
After actively fishing plastic out of the water you want
to regain your energies by delicious food and drinks?
We offer several possibilities, on board as well as at nice
external locations.
CATERING ON BOARD
Combine your plastic fishing trip with a nice lunch or drinks
on board. We offer several possibilities for lunch and snacks,
coffee/tea and cold drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) on
board. Prices are available upon request!
DIVINE CATERING
Our partner Divine Catering offers delicious (vegetarian or
vegan) snacks on board. A nice way to relax and get rewarded
after the active plastic fishing!
GOOD TO KNOW
During the plastic fishing trip, our enthusiastic skippers show
you the most beautiful spots of Amsterdam from the water.
The minimum number for participation is 8 people. The
maximum capacitieit 150 people.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
No worries! We have a poncho aboard for everyone. And
believe it or not, but the groups that went plastic fishing in
the rain, were the most enthusiastic. Besides, it’s almost always
good weather when we go on the water;-). However, should
there be bad weather, we can move the event free of charge.
No problem!

The prices are € 37.50 per person (excl. VAT). This includes all
16.00 - 16.30 End of plastic fishing, award ceremony
materials, prizes for the winning teams and transport, storage
and processing of waste.

IN ROTTERDAM
Since 2016, Plastic Whale is also operating in Rotterdam.
Together with your team you can fish plastic on the beautiful
Rotten and historic ports of Rotterdam. Very different from
the canals of Amsterdam, but just as charming.
Our team in Rotterdam works hard to give you an excellent
day: combine the plastic fishing event with a meeting, lunch
or dinner at Restaurant rebelz, beautifully located at the River
Rotte.

BY PLASTIC WHALE
If you want to start your company event with an inspiring talk,
we offer the possibility for a lecture by Plastic Whale’s founder
Marius Smit.
In this 30-45 minutes inspriring lecture Marius tells about the
origins of Plastic Whale. About the importance of a clear mission
and flexibility to respond to unexpected twists. About faith in
your idea, in yourself and in others. About the personal setbacks
and victories. About vulnerability and perseverance. On innovative
business models and new media. ... And his belief in the power
of DOING. After the lecture everyone gets to go fishing plastic
board!
This reading can take place at a location of choice or at one of
our partners: Mediamatic or hotel Pulitzer.
SKATEBOARDS FROM
BOTTLE CAPS
From Plastic Whale a new venture evolved: WasteBoards,
skateboards made from plastic bottle caps.
During the Amsterdam Dance Event 2015 we presented the first
WasteBoard and our plans to bake skateboards at large music
festivals. For this, we transformed a sea container into a Mobile
WasteBoards Bakery. We collect plastic bottle caps at large
music festivals to bake skateboards on site, involving the
young visitors. WasteBoards are now for sale in our webshop
at www.wasteboards.com.
UNIQUE PRICE FOR THE WINNING TEAM
We offer the possibility to give away a WasteBoard as an
exclusive price for the winning team during the plastic fish
competition. Price is available upon request.

TOURS ON
THE PLASTIC WHALE
Even if you are not plastic fishing, you can use our boats for a
trip on the canals of Amsterdam. One of our skippers can take
you on the boat for a trip around the most beautiful spots of
Amsterdam while you enjoy a nice drink, snacks and hopefully
some sun.
You can also rent one of our Plastic Whale boats for a plastic
fishing trip around the canals of Amsterdam!
SUPPORT THE PLASTIC
WHALE FOUNDATION!
Our mission is to involve as many people as possible to reach
our goal for plastic-free waters. We’ve learned that awareness
and contribution to the solution of the Plastic soup starts with
our children. That’s why we want to involve as many schools as
possible in our education program. With our partner museum
Het Grachtenhuis classes can book an excursion were they learn
about the function of the Amsterdam canals and the plastic
soup problem.
Each year, moreover, the foundation organizes free public events
where everybody can join us to realize our goal for plastic-free
waters.
Your donation to the foundation will make this all possible. We
have recently received the ANBI status so all your donations are
tax deductible.
