It just so happens that Bedford Presbyterian Church is putting together a group of folks like you for that very purpose! We want to meet new people, make new connections, and grow in faith through fellowship, service, and food. This group is so new that it doesn’t even have a name yet, so we’re calling it “Dinner With Friends” and holding our first dinner at the church in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, March 30 from 6‐7:30 PM. We will eat dinner together and have some fun get‐to‐know‐you activities. Childcare will be provided. Co‐Pastors Karen Hagy and John Sawyer invite you to “The Way of Prayer” A Lenten Enrichment Series for Adults and Youth. These classes will be held at both the 9:00 Hour on Sunday morning in the Parlor or at 7:00 Wednesday evenings in Lent after the potluck(6:30‐Fellowship Hall) supper during the Faith Feasts. During this study we will discuss the following topics: What is prayer How do you pray Images of God Praying by heart Praying with music Praying by gaze Praying with our bodies Scriptural prayer Contemplative prayer Praying with and for others Prayer and social transformation This series comes from the Companions in Christ small group spiritual formation experience. Books can be purchased in the office for the classes for $10.00 but are not necessary for participation. You are invited to come for one, two, three or all the classes.
