Friezen
: thickness 27 mm - width 40 to 90 mm ascending with 10 in standard width - length 250
mm to 2100 mm going up in 50 mm.
Other timber: Thickness 27 - 100 mm width and in lots of all widthnesses - upto 2100 going up in 50 mm.
Q-FA (4 sides clean)
Sawn timber free of any defect, mould damage or peculiarity in
processing on 4 sides and with straight grain.
Excluded: sapwood, pith, curly grain, mould damage, against the grain
Other regulations: color, texture, quarter sawn timber, half sawn timber
etc. to be determined in agreement with customer
QF-AX: sapwood limited to 2/3 of the thickness .
QF-1a (3/4 sides clean)
Sawn timber free of any defect, mould damage or peculiarity in
processing and with practically straight grain
On max 20% of the lot, on one side, one sound knot of max 10 mm is
allowed per linear meter or equal. On pieces with length shorter than 1
meter only 1 defect is allowed.
Excluded: sapwood, pith, curly grain, mold damage, against the grain
Other regulations: color, texture, quarter sawn timber, half sawn timber
etc. according to contract
QF 1aX : Sound sapwood limited to 2/3 of the thickness
QF 1aXX: Sound sapwood through and through
QF-1 b (1bis)

On each side 2 sound (intergrown) and solid knots of max 12 mm per
linear meter or equal and unlimited knots smaller than 5 mm are
allowed.
Grain of sawn timber is mainly straight.
Excluded: sapwood, pith, curly grain, mold damage, against the grain
Other regulations: color, texture, quarter sawn timber, half sawn timber
etc. according to contract
QF 1bX : Sound sapwood limited to 2/3 of the thickness
QF 1bXX: Sound sapwood through and through
General: no rot, worm holes, insect attack, moulds, loose rings, included sapwoods, wanes, excessive
end shakes.

Q-F4 (not standard choice)
On each side small knots without limitations and 3 sound and solid
knots (max diameter of half the width and max 70 mm per meter, or
equal, are allowed
Allowed dead knots of 20 mm or equal on reverse side, per meter
Allowed traces of sapwood upto half the thickness
QF- 4XX: Sound sapwood through and through without limitations
