Kingsbury Water Park
Hedgehogs 3yrs +
Help our friend Spike the hedgehog get ready for, or wake up
from, his hibernation. Hunt the fleas, make a nest for him and
discover what hedgehogs like to eat.
Bugs, Beetles and Butterflies 3yrs +
Come and help the ranger hunt all sorts of minibeasts! What
can we discover jumping, crawling and flying around the
park? Can you find something the Ranger can’t identify?!
Lovely ladybirds 3yrs +
Join the Ranger to follow the ladybird trail, see if you can find
any real ladybirds and make your own ladybird hat to take
home.
Wild woods 3yrs +
Have some wild fun in the woods! Try out mud painting,
making homes for woodland animals, following trails, digging
for treasure and playing. Based on forest school principles.
Little ducklings 3yrs +
Have some messy fun making a feathery duck hat, and then
take a walk with the ranger to spot some ducks splashing in
the lake, and have a go at feeding them.
Fairy sparklers & wizard staffs 3yrs +
Transform plain willow sticks into glitzy fairy wands and fiery
wizard staffs, using some natural treasures found in the park
and sparkly art materials
Pond dipping 5yrs +
Dip into the watery world of ponds and discover the weird and
wonderful creatures who live there.
Den building 6yrs +
Take on the team challenge to build a den. Can you
camouflage it? Will it stand up? Will it be waterproof? Come
and have a go.
Rocket challenge 7yrs + (max 15 children)
Design, decorate and launch your own record breaking pop
bottle rocket. How far will it go and can it survive crash
landings?
Parties cost £80 and are for a maximum of 20 children except where stated
Important Party Information
•
All Ranger led parties include:
o 2 hrs use of the education centre
o A ranger led activity within the 2hours that lasts approximately 1 hr
o All the equipment required to undertake the activity.
•
The maximum number of age appropriate children per party activity is 15 - 20
depending on the activity chosen.
•
Cost - £80
•
A completed booking form and a £20 deposit is required to book your party.
•
Party Bags, these are available at an additional cost of £2 per bag (see attached
flyer for details).
•
Full payment must be received 2 weeks before your party, or you will lose your
booking and deposit.
•
We require the following adult to child ratios ( not including the Ranger):
3 & 4 years = 1 adult to 2 children,
5years + = 1 adult to 5 children.
•
Host/Parents will be responsible for the children’s behaviour during the party
and activity. Please ensure the helpers are aware they must share the
responsibility for supervising the behaviour of all children whilst undertaking
the activity.
•
The rangers will stop the activity if anyone’s safety is being compromised.
•
Activities involve going outside, and therefore require outdoor clothing suitable to
the weather.
•
We may have to alter your outside activity due to weather conditions – we will offer
an indoor activity instead.
•
We cannot be held responsible for any person or possessions brought to the park.
•
We may need to cancel your party in unforeseen circumstances, in the unlikely
event that this happens we will provide an alternative date or a refund in full.
•
Please leave the room as you found it – we provide bin bags, urn, mugs,
washing up area, dust pan and brush, vacuum, table cleaner and cloths.

Party food - If you wish to have party food provided by the country park café,
please contact them on 01827 874 823.
•
Parking for the organiser is free (please report to the Information Centre to obtain
entrance). Any parents/guardians wishing to stay in the park while their children are
at the party must pay the necessary parking charge.
