Rest of the day free 02 — Friday MEXICO (Pyramids of Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe) Buffet and/or American breakfast. In the morning visit the Square of the Three Cultures, the most important market of the Aztec Empire, with products coming from all cardinal points. The Tianguis de Tlatelolco, today called Square of the Three Cultures , owns its name to the fact that on one of the Aztec platforms, the Spaniards built a Church and later modern apartment buildings were constructed on it. Then continue towards the archaeological zone of San Juan de Teotihuacan, the mysterious city of the Gods, to visit the gigantic Pyramid of the Sun -constructed in the 1st Century AD, the Pyramid of the Moon – constructed in the 2nd Century AD, the Avenue of the Dead, the Citadel with the Temple of Quetzacoatl and the Palace of the Butterflies. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to the city with a stop at the modern Basilica of Guadalupe. Free afternoon 03 — Saturday MEXICO (City visit including the Anthropology Museum, Bazar del Sabado and Santa Fe) Buffet and/or American breakfast. Tour of the city: the Constitution Square or Zocalo, surrounded by buildings of great architectural, artistic and historical value; the National Palace, where the beautiful paintings of Diego Rivera are exhibited; the Supreme Court of Justice building; the Metropolitan Cathedral; the Templo Mayor Aztec Temple; Chapultepec Park; the main avenues, monuments, residential and commercial areas and the Aztec Room of the Anthropology Museum. We do continue our visit to San Angel where the BAZAR DEL SABADO market takes place. Painters, plastic artists, fine handcrafts objects and antique articles can be found (Box Lunch) we do finish our journey at modern Santa Fe, a new area in Mexico City that shows the most modern and finest buildings. Time for shopping at Santa Fe shopping Center. . 04 — Saunday MEXICO – QUERETARO – SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE Buffet and/or American Breakfast. Departure toward Queretaro, very important historical city during the fight for Independence Panoramic visit and free time. Lunch . Continue to SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE. Lodging. and panoramic tour of the city emphasizing on its beautiful colonial mansions and the Cathedral. 05 — Monday SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE – DOLORES HIDALGO – GUANAJUATO Buffet and/or American Breakfast. In route toward Dolores Hidalgo, foundering City of the Mexican Independence. Tour of the city and continuation to Guanajuato, city World Heritage Site. Lodging in the Mission Hotel. Visit to the Valenciana Mine; the Monument of the Pípila, the Juárez Theater, the Union Garden, the Flea Market, the University, the Hidalgo Market, the Beso (Kiss) Alley and the Alhóndiga de Granaditas. 06 — Tuesday GUANAJUATO – GUADALAJARA Buffet and/or American Breakfast. Departure to Tlaquepaque, via Aguas Calientes toward Tlaquepaque, the most diverse and colorful artisan bazaar of Mexico. Free time and lunch brightened up by mariachis. 07 — Wednesday GUADALAJARA (CITY VISIT) Buffet and/or American breakfast. Visit of the Tequila region, from where its name originated, producer of the oldest and most traditional drink of Mexico “the Tequila”. We will visit one of the ranches dedicated to the production of this drink. Visit the processing plant and taste the tequila. In the evening we continue our visit of the City of Guadalajara, which was founded on 1542. It shows its multiple constructions that date back from the Colony to Porfirio Diaz’s time (1900’s). We will admire among others: the Cathedral, the Cabañas Hospice and The Government Palace. Return to the Hotel. 08 — Thursday GUADALAJARA – TZINTZUNTZAN – PATZCUARO – MORELIA Buffet and/or American Breakfast. Departure towards Tzintzuntzan the city that was formerly the Capital of the Purepecha kingdom. Continue to Patzcuaro, one of the most beautiful towns of Mexico. Panoramic visit and free time. Their typical markets like Vasco de Quiroga and Gertrudis Bocanegra invite to walk between popular scenes and great variety of crafts. At the end of the afternoon continuation to Morelia, World Heritage Site, that welcomes the visitor with its aqueduct of 253 arches. Lodging. 09 — Friday MORELIA – MEXICO Buffet and/or American Breakfast. Panoramic visit of the historical center with its pink stone buildings, standing out is the baroque Cathedral. Continue to Mexico City. Lodging. 10 — Saturday MEXICO CITY Buffet and/or American breakfast. Transfer to the Airport.
