Main character / Dorothy - 16 ​Emma Ethell
A young attractive girl, age 16-18. She is innocent, gullible and
naïve. She represents Dorothy, her motivation is to get home. Wears
the standard outfit of Dorothy
Wife/Wicked Witch - 30
A woman, she often hunches and has dark green skin, without a doubt
heaviest character in regards to makeup. Character must look around
30, if not older. She is jealous of Dorothy’s body and hates herself
for her ugliness. Married to the wizard who she often catches in
perverted acts. Her motivation is to be beautiful and to stop her
husband being such a perv; or at least, maybe be a perv to her
instead. As wife her outfit is a blouse, suit jacket and long pants,
as the witch she has long, wispy black robes and a big pointed hat.
Husband/ Wizard of Oz - 30
A mustachioed man, normally he stands tall, but when around the
witch, he often keeps his head down, staring at his toes. He must
look around 30 as well. He is perverted and hates himself for it. His
motivation varies, at the start he wants to steal a snow globe from
Dorothy, then he struggles with his urges to take advantage of
Dorothy. As the wizard he wears the attire of the wizard of Oz, suit
jacket, long collared shirt, waist coat, fancy suit pants, top hat.
As the husband he wears an ugly navy business suit which is too big
for him, ugly green shirt and a bright green tie.

Shot from bushes and other rubble, looking up at DOROTHY.
Camera glides left as DOROTHY walks left. Some camera shake,
represents pov of MUNCHKINS following DOROTHY. MUNCHKINS make
scuttling and other crawling sounds.
Medium shot - DOROTHY
She turns around and looks into distance, seemingly where the
scuttling came from, clutching snow globe to breast. She looks at
snow globe.

MUNCHKIN POV as they investigate the snow globe in DOROTHY's
hands.

Closeup cuts to a medium shot, showing all of DOROTHY. Camera
shakily glides towards her, simulates MUNCHKIN chase. DOROTHY
instinctively runs away in fear.

Wide-Over shoulder shot- DOROTHY looking to WIZARD
WIZARD’S back is facing DOROTHY, he is slamming the (unseen)
ground with his cane. Giving the appearance of him beating the
MUNCHKINS, WIZARD does this with much aggression.
Medium Shot - WIZARD
Turns around to face DOROTHY, DOROTHY quickly hugs him, in
thanks and for consolation. Camera glides out. They end the
hug. Camera glides around to see WIZARD holding the globe
behind his back. He gives a bow. Then in a large, expressive
manner turns around and walks past camera. (as he walks past,
he holds globe to breast, camera is at eye-level with globe.
Camera goes back with WIZARD a bit, so we end with a wide shot
of DOROTHY alone in forest.

Medium tracking - DOROTHY, WITCH intro
Medium front tracking, DOROTHY still walking through forest,
*sound effect, WITCH laugh* DOROTHY stops and looks at bush she
walks by. Camera shifts 90 degrees to see the back of her. ​Dolly
zoom, then The WITCH appears through bush.
Side medium tracking - DOROTHY disgust at the WITCH
DOROTHY looks at WITCH with a face of fear and disgust. She
slowly takes a step back, the WITCH takes a step forward, DOROTHY
continues to take steps back. We do this shot like it was done in
Nosferatu by Werner Herzog. Shot finishes by a DOROTHY running away.
Wide shot- scene end
Half of shot (vertical) is taken by DOROTHY running into
background, other half is taken up by the WITCH. We see after DOROTHY
has run a certain distance away, the WITCH puts hand to face and
maybe falls to kne es.

We see an ugly warted green hand, maybe with long nails going
to open the shack’s door. Shot ends as the knob starts turning.

MEDIUM SHOT - WIZARD
The WIZARD stands up immediately and in a panic poorly hides
the ​scandalous object behind his back. He then does a large
expressive bow of thoughts, a large nervous smile on his face.
Close-up WITCH chin
The WITCH in her hunch-walk goes towards the WIZARD, stern look
on face. The camera is looking up on her, lots of her chin will
be in shot. At end of shot she starts to hug WIZARD
Medium close-up - ​object​ grab
WITCH’S hand slowly reaching around back, narrowly missing the
scandalous object​. Hand slowly seems to rest slightly above the
object, until we see her quickly snatch the object.
Medium shot - WITCH and WIZARD side
The WITCH steps back from the WIZARD, holding the ​object above
her head. The WIZARD nervously takes a step-back holding hands
up defensively. The WITCH extends one arm and pushes the WIZARD
back.
Medium shot- WITCH grabbing cane.
The WITCH furiously grabs the cane, (which was always resting
somewhere in the scene) and we have the same effect of SCENE 1,
of the camera being struck.
Wide shot
looking down on WITCH beating WIZARD. Wizard eventually falls
to floor.
Close up of WITCH
WITCH, beating WIZARD through grit teeth. At certain point she
stops, she’s angry at self and still loves him. Holding cane above
head. She drops the cane and camera tracks it falling to floor. Shot
finishes with bottom half taken up by WIZARD’S face as he lies on
floor. Top half of shot taken up by background and door which was
used at start of shot. In flurry of emotion, the WITCH walks out and
leaves through door at back.
SCENE 4
INT -- EMERALD SHACK -- TWILIGHT / NIGHT
Medium shot- DOROTHY
DOROTHY is looking intently just beyond the camera
Establishing shock - Emerald shack
The Emerald shack exterior is shown, the camera’s angle is
tilted slightly upwards. Dorothy walks into the shot and slowly
walks into the background and knocks on the door.
Medium over the shoulder shot- Dorothy
DOROTHY knocking on the Emerald shack, nervously. We see “the
bell is broken” splattered in red paint on one side of the
shack. After knocking, the door ​falls over.
Long shot- DOROTHY in doorway
DOROTHY is standing in the doorway, lots of light behind her,
making her appear almost like a silhouette. She steps forward
from the background, into the foreground, up until she reaches
an eerily placed light source further into the shack.
Room scan DOROTHY POV- WIZARD intro 2.
Scanning right-left, we see the creepy interior of the shack.
As before the WIZARD suddenly steps into the shot.
WIZARD over the torso shot- DOROTHY hug
Dorothy runs up to the WIZARD and hugs him.
Over the shoulder DOROTHY shot- DOROTHY snow globe
A small part of DOROTHY’S head and shoulder is in the shot,
with the WIZARD beyond that. In the background the snow globe
is set on a dresser. Snow globe’s colours contrast and is in
focus.
Medium side shot, upward angle- Dorothy taking globe back.
DOROTHY walks past the WIZARD and grabs the globe sitting on
the dresser. Then walks back.

Medium-close up shot eye level- WIZARD nods
The WIZARD in his common showy manner nods his head, flutters
his arms to an extent and maybe tips his hat a little. He turns
around and opens a chest behind him. Camera glides and pans to
accommodate the opening of the chest action.
Chest POV- WIZARD can’t do it
The WIZARD is looking into the chest and pulling things out of
it, past the camera. He starts with a nervous look until he
realises that he won’t be able to send her back home, he looks
disheartened and turns around to tell her the bad news.

Wizard looks sad, then his facial expression changes and he
suddenly looks very interested and starts to smile

Cut to reveal from a bird’s eye view that DOROTHY is lying on a
hospital bed.
Pan in - Hospital Tv
Slowly pan in on Hospital TV, which is playing the ​ending of The
Wizard of Oz.
Medium shot - Hospital room
Scans right-left, hospital room which reveals the WIZARD,
sleeping slumped in a chair. As well as the WITCH standing arms
crossed dirty handkerchief in hand. The two are both dressed in
common styles of modern day people.
Close up- high angle
The WITCH standing stern, arms crossed across her chest, dirty
handkerchief being held in hand.

A close up of the WIZARD’S sleeping face. Camera pans out and
slowly glides up to the window sill to reveal the globe resting on
the window sill, a bow attached to the globe. Slowly camera pans into
the globe.

DOROTHY has slightly sat up throughout the earlier shots and is
looking towards the two, she weakly reaches over to a remote at the
bedside table.
Over-the-remote shot- remote throw
The intense foreground of the shot is the television remote.
The background contains the WITCH, WIZARD and the television screen,
playing the end of the wizard of oz. Weakly, she drops the television
remote.

DOROTHY falls back into the bed and looks directly into camera
