A welder can do a job in 25 hours. The welder and his assistant work on the job for 10 hours
when the welder decides to quit. The assistant finishes the job in 17 hours. How long would it
have taken the assistant to do the entire job by herself?
With the faucets wide open a bathtub can be filled in 10 minutes. With the drain wide open that
same bathtub can be drained in 15 minutes. If the faucets and the drain are all wide open, how
long, if ever, will it take to fill the tub?
